Song About a Tribe

This is my first take of my first song ever to record!

I wrote this shortly before going to a bluegrass festival in the Ko'olau mountains, hence the bluesy, earthy tone to this song. I guess you could say I was pre-inspired??? LOL

This song, like many of my originals, is meant to bring attention to where our fears hide.... and to show how little they mean on a big grand scale of things (unless you give them permission to run your life!). 

"Breezes blow," life changes and that's what keeps it moving and interesting! Good will always come back around, and so will times of darkness. Fear not - keep your attention on the beauty the future has to bring!

Sun is shining brighter than it was yesterday
But I can see the clouds coming and I fear they're gonna get in my way

Birds are singing sweeter than they were the day before
But I can see it when they fly they're still fighting up against a windy storm

Well I know that change is good, but I think we've misunderstood
Think we're confusing change for action.... this is our distraction
