Amanda Costner is a comedic musician who hails from the South and bases out of the Twin Cities. Amanda has performed at Second City, Brave New Workshop, Looney Bin Comedy Club and bars & theaters throughout the midwest. Her comedy songs range from acoustic pop ballads about being a gay preacher’s daughter, to soul-comedy pieces on the pitfalls of relationships. Using stand-up between songs, audiences get to know what it’s like to be a lesbian in love with a neurologist and have people question whether she knows what a neurologist even is. Recently Amanda released an EP,  LGBT Redneck, a collection of 4 songs and an audio sketch illustrating her bumbling foray into the world of women.
