Thomaas Banks returns on his own Sinahti label with a brand new three-track EP of
dark and brooding electro to kick start a busy 2021.

Thomas Coveney AKA Thomaas Banks launched the Sinahti label at the tail end of 2019 with
the blistering ‘Necare Disko’, a record which garnered support from the likes of Mixmag, DJ Mag & Ransom Note, whilst finding favour with DJ’s including Jennifer Cardini, Justin Robertson and Curses. 2020 has seen Coveney keeping busy in a year like no other, working from his L.A. home on new Sinahti material for the year ahead, whilst keeping across his other projects
including the much lauded Psychemagik.

The Sinahti imprint will be moving full steam ahead in the new year, with a string of releases lined up for the opening months kicking off with stellar EP, ‘The Dark’. The record opens with the sci-fi sounds of ‘And The Machines Began To Breathe’, a taught and brooding slice of synth driven electro that gets immediately under your skin. Next up is the broken beat and dark edged ‘K900’, taking things in a more syncopated and twisted direction. The EP closes out with the excellent 'Afraid Of The Dark’, a chugging and mesmerising groover that marries rolling synth arps with ethereal fx and intense spoken word vocal snippets.
