Former NFL Linebacker Arthur Moats will be at Grantsville Days signing books and interacting with fans on Saturday June 26th from 3-6pm. He will be selling and signing his book - MOATS Theory of Life. Books will be available for sale for $20 with 20% of sales going to his foundation, The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. Moats talks about his book and what he is looking forward to during his visit this weekend. The event is being hosted by JTF and co-owner Ronda Johnson discusses working with Moats and all the activities planned this weekend and all summer long with JTF.

This morning the Allegany County Health Department has been notified that the Delta variant of COVID-19 identified in a COVID-19 case in Allegany County. Allegany County Health Department Health Officer Jenelle Mayer says the Delta variant is of great concern because it is more contagious that the other variants throughout the pandemic. She says the number one thing any one can do to protect themselves is to get vaccinated. For those who are under 12 and can not get vaccinated it is important to continue to mask indoors and take precautions to slow the spread of infections.

She provides live news updates for the Magic Morning Show and the Morning Show on 100.1 The Wolf and is the news along with the other four radio stations owned by Allegany Radio Corporation including 94.1 QZK , 99.5 DZN, 1230 and 1390 ESPN AM and public service director for Allegany Radio Corporation.She also hosted  Potomac Highlands Today on WKLP-AM 1390 for more than eight years. She currently hosts Tri-State Today  a local talk show focused on news and events happening around the region on WCMD 102.1 FM and 1230 AM. She also volunteers her time for several local community groups and organizations. Amanda has won West Virginia Broadcasters Association Best Talk Show in an Unranked Market 2014 for Potomac Highlands Today on WKLP 1390 ESPN AM 9am weekdays and West Virginia Broadcasters Association Newscast in an Unranked Market 2014. In 2015 she won the West Virginia Broadcasters Award for  Best Talk Show in an Unranked Market She was a Marconi Award Nominee for Small Market Personality of the Year 2016 and Inducted Into the North Ridgeville High School Distinguished Alumni Hall Of Fame 2016.
