O Holy Night

Music has always been the one thing to soothe my soul no matter what the circumstances. The tragedy that happened today in Connecticut has been heavy on my heart. I keep thinking what could I do? How could I help? In such a severe tragedy what do words, money, or anything really mean? The only thing I have is my gift and passion for singing so I decided to record a song that always brings me comfort and dedicate it to the families who are grieving such a tremendous loss. The Holiday Season will never be the same for these families. I know many of you are at a loss for words, just like me so I choosing to express what's on my heart through a song.

I thought it would be neat to kind of document the entire process of creating a song. This song is very important to me and close to my heart because it is the first song I have ever written in dealing with the loss of my mother. It expresses the emotions that have impacted me over the years since I was 8 years old. We just began putting my words to music...I am anxious to see where it goes from here.

These days, Amanda's fan-base and market presence is stronger than ever. Reaching listeners of all ages, her music transcends the boundaries of traditional Pop, Jazz, Soul, R&B, Adult Contemporary, and Contemporary Christian; exposing her music and show to a wide array of listeners.
