This track is to make aware of the unjustified actions of a police officer in Seattle. On August 20, 2010 a woodcarver by the name of John T Williams was shot 4 times by officer Ian Birk who was not criminally charged by law enforcement.

This is a traditional/contemporary song I composed for our warriors to keep focus on our intent of being PROTECTORS and not psychopathic killers. This is a co-ed song so the value of warriorship is transcended in how we contribute to society as a protector of children, elders, the handicapped, the less fortunate, the animals and the environment. This is a work in progress, but I hope it will help out in these tense times. Eyes on the prize...always on the long term. Let's sing this together someday! O SIEM.

2015 Polaris winner Buffy Sainte-Marie and 2014 winner Tanya Tagaq got together for our second ever Collaboration Session to create the song "You Got To Run (Spirit Of The Wind)." 

Because that wasn't enough, we then got three-time Polaris nominees A Tribe Called Red to remix the song so we could press a 7-inch single of the two versions and give it out for free at the 2017 Polaris Gala.
