The idea to get behind the mix was born in the head of AMAR DURGA at the Cukr Plenér event, but then it lay dormant for a long time. By sheer coincidence, AMAR DURGA stood behind the decks thrice during the summer of 2022 at her friend's place. She found she would enjoy the activity but reckoned she would mix and produce electronic music when she had more time—when retired.

But fate had other plans. AMAR DURGA accidentally made a booking at La Medusa, a bar in Prague district Vinohrady, where she was to have a gig on December 10, 2022. She started learning mixing on December 1, 2022, when she got one of the cheapest controllers.

Apart from a few gigs in the bar mentioned above, she played in the bar Sklep at Kolín and Prague clubs Chapeau Rouge, Cross Club, Vzorkovna, Onyx Music Club and Jilská 22. She placed 3rd in the Dutch techno underground competition Technostate Inc., and her set was played on London's Techno Fnoob Radio. She has played in Germany and Belgium and is curious about where her journey will go.

Her most adored genre is techno. She also enjoys tech house, bass house, deep house, funky house, organic house, and minimal deep tech. She gets into the waters of psytrance or drum and bass when she's in the mood. She started learning electronic music production in 2023.
