Amaranthina is a word that comes from the greek word Amaranthine, which means:
'Eternally beautiful and unfading; everlasting': I believe it is also a mythological flower of eternal beauty that is unfading and everlasting. This has a change to it in that I added an 'a' on the end which I believe makes it feminine or singlular. The original choice of the word dates back to about 2005 in which I sang for a band that never got off of the ground which our drummer wanted to entitle 'Amaranthine', our drummer later died of Cancer, he had a ship tattoo that many friends got in honor of him. So it is also a remembrance of our friend Stew. It has a very special meaning to it, also I have a symbol which represents it and there are other symbols like the eternal flower that has a very significant esoteric meaning, which will later be applied to much of the artwork in congruence with my solo musical project. I offically started this project in November of 2010, with many songs being written before that. I would love you all to be apart of what I am doing , and will continue to do in the near future.
