No Surrender is about igniting your inner warrior! It’s about freedom and sovereignty! To not allow anyone else to dictate your life.  It's about being grounded in your body to move through all obstacles that rise on your journey to your destiny.   It's about having the strength to continue on when you reach rock bottom, to keep your word and to break through all barriers and everything and anything and anyone that tries to keep you small. It's about keeping your heart strong and free and not surrendering to fear, lies and deception.

"Trust" is a reflection of exactly that and all that it entails.  What an interesting virtue to consider during this time in the world as a lot of internal paradigms and social constructs are breaking down. This is a powerful period where the truth of our times is emerging from the darkness.  How fitting to have an owl in a video about trust as owls are known as the quiet night flyers and can see through the darkness.

This is what my song is about. Feel free to share your thoughts and if this resonates. I think love is the biggest thing all of humanity is being tested on right now. 
A song about worthiness. We often martyr ourselves for love.....or run from it because we don't feel worthy and we think it's the noble thing to do. The cover art is inspired by a dream I had and also around the concept described in "Mastery of Love" by Don Miguel Ruiz. (Artemis, the huntress of the forest forgets who she is because she becomes obsessed with obtaining Hercules love, and she loses her happiness, her joy and her connection with nature and the animals). 
Is the deer's chest red to display pain, hurt, heartbreak or is it red with love and courage? Is it courage to continually put ourselves in harms way to obtain something that may not be good for us? Does that "courage" keep us chained? Does it take more courage and strength to stay or more courage and strength to go? Is the love we wish to obtain from another what will make us feel truly alive and free? Maybe? When it's real love? But what truly is real love? The answer is always inside of us, and ultimately the lesson is how to learn to love oneself.....unconditionally.  Unconditional love, something often talked about but do any of us truly, truly know how to love unconditionally?
In the intricacies of relationships it can get quite confusing. If you love someone you want to give them freedom, full acceptance. However what if giving that freedom often requires you to sacrifice your needs, wants and desires? Where do you draw the line? Where do you compromise? Is there a line if it's real love? What about "love knows no boundaries?" Do you love yourself enough to give yourself permission to have what makes you happy? Do you love yourself enough to accept love and to feel worthy of it? Aren't we supposed to have boundaries? Animals teach us about boundaries. Nature teaches us in so many ways. It can nurture us, challenge us, shelter us, kill us. Love to us is like water and sunlight to a plant. We are wired to crave love but it seems as though we got wired to fear it too. Love is truly the food for our soul, and what we fear most is losing it. So everything becomes an action to guard ourselves against the pain of loss. However, no plant can grow through a shield. Growth requires Vulnerability, a lowering of the shield. We cannot experience the depths of intimacy and love wearing armour. So isn't it fair to say that love brings growth? Perhaps that is why we are all wired to crave love and intimacy, because nature is designed and required to grow in order to live. As human beings on this planet, is it not then fair to conclude that love is required to live and thrive? So if we are wired to stay alive, we are wired to need love and that it’s not just to fulfill a desire? Love nourishes us and keeps us alive. Love is the very essence of life. 
Love gives freedom. Fear seeks to control. I believe we have all danced between these two and sometimes there are "No Straight Lines" on how to love.
