Great tune I added to my Future Garage playlist

so, for context about this sudden, somewhat off release, as the title says, this song was basically a vent, which is the reason it sounds so different from anything I've ever made. Let me go into some detail.
2021 has been the hardest year of my life. I know I'm only 16, so I'll have worse years to come, but it just felt like everything happened at once. A series of intense blocks wouldn't allow me to get anything done and I would constantly feel anxious that people would forget about sumic and it would die off as a failed passion. I built up walls around releasing and constantly sent my tracks everywhere I could hoping someone would tell me that there was something I could work on so I could keep improving it so that nobody would dislike my music. I sent my music everywhere so that I could improve it to "perfection" when in reality, I was just putting off releasing it because I was scared of the audience disliking it. This became a really bad habit of me getting demotivated to keep working on my music and throwing it away when I got too obsessed with what others thought that I forgot to care about what I thought of my music. 

This song is a big fuck you to that habit. I made it, got no feedback, only fixed what I thought needed to be, and released it as soon as possible. Whether people like it or not is out of the question for me, I just really want to put something out for you.

nov. 4 marks the 3 year anniversary of one of my favourite projects of all time.

i love "island of glass" by skg, it has inspired me so much throughout the years

in 2020 i made the first version of this remix for skg, but wasn't a big fan of it so i kept it unreleased. i played it in my dreamwood set, and people seemed to like it, so here's the slightly updated version which i prefer more. my guess is that sc compression will destroy this. honestly this is just the original but louder. 

i dont want this to be unreleased anymore, its been 2 years since i made it originally
