Recorded live during the vernissage of "Fiiiii-Fiùùù" by the Italian ceramist Mirko Marcolin, 8/09/2023 .

"Whispers, whistles, gardens, and sharing are the words I had in mind when selecting these records for this imaginary "garden-playground" where his works are displayed for his first solo exhibition."

DJ Outback is Marco, born in '87. He is part of the duo AUZA along with Luka Bazooka, offering a versatile DJ set that spans various musical genres (house, techno, funk, disco, dub...). He is also a resident DJ for the collective TRASH-DANCE.

His solo project, on the other hand, is more specific, focusing on abstract and geometric DJ sets.

First and foremost comes aesthetic. Balancing Unit, a researcher of pure artistic forms which can give freedom to diverse needs of self expression.

Music and visual arts constitute the pillars for the constant seek of a balancing point, the fulcrum. The sonic architectures of his productions and dj performances set the scenery for this inner research, leaning towards a spiritual and meditative approach when conceiving his narratives.

This mix for Amatori clearly represents his vision of music as a powerful tool to embark in a transformative journey in unknown territories. Like a Rorschach test, the different sonic textures are here inweaved to create universal and ever-changing symbolic soundscapes. Soundscapes meant to host and mirror both the inner traveling experience of the dj and the listener with his personal and unique story. In the sound we are all simultaneously drivers and passengers. Amamix 23 - Balancing Unit

Mattia_FT, aka Mattia Frasson, has been the founder and president of the Faro Tondo Scooter Club, based in Curtarolo (PD) since 2008.
In addition to being an enthusiastic "collector" and selector of original Jamaican music vinyl records from the '60s and '70s, his involvement in the world of scooters has inspired him to pursue a musical exploration, focusing on the early sounds of Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae.

His passion for music has led him to perform at numerous scooter gatherings and venues in Italy, as well as in other countries such as Copenhagen, Zurich, Brighton, and more recently, at the Overjam festival in Tolmin, Slovenia.
For some years now, he has been collaborating with two other renowned DJs, Renato Traffano from Genoa and Pino JJ from Vicenza, in organizing a bimonthly event called "The night train." In these events, they host international artists, providing music enthusiasts with an eclectic and engaging musical experience.

Welcome to the Amatori extended family to @serenitysoundseeker - Polish DJ & VJ, fascinated by ethereal ambient sounds. 

Radio host of nauka oddychania (a show broadcasted on Radio Luz) and co-creator of @p_o_z_n_o (an audiovisual collective based in Wrocław). Her mixes lead us to a meditative state of being by combining warm, soul-soothing power ambient with dreamy sounds full of textures.


About this mix: 
It was inspired by the fragment of Italian poem “L’onda” (which is a part of the book “Viaggio verso l’interno”) written by Beato Gabriele and also by confusing feelings evoked through observing the eruption of a volcano. The fear mixed with fascination—endless shapes of lava and unpredictability of the motion. Mutability formed by fire in liquid form, primal element of mother nature, fragility hidden in our bodies, past mixed with the present. The wave is driven by emotions.
