Words do hurt. I’ve been in the same place where words from my mother lingered a lot longer and hurt me as well. I still love my mother but we gotta be careful on what we say to others. I pray that you can forgive him and move on. Jesus is always there for you and will always heal you. Trust in Jesus and your heart will be healed.  I know mom meant the best for me but she ain’t perfect. I still love and forgive her with all my heart. Stay Blessed.❤️🙏🏾✝️

Slow N Steady

Ever since I was 13, I found a producer who made music that completely inspired me. Every day in school I would enjoy listening to their music hoping one day I would be able to Collab with them. I Joined their communities to connect with them in hopes to meet them. Trying everything I could to fit in, to act "cool". The more and more I would continue to participate in the servers the more I would change who really am. And suddenly forgot who I was in the process to fit in. Then finally being cool enough to get recognized, it was never enough. Doing things for them only to not receive anything back. Fell so deep into this rabbit hole that I thought that, this is what friends are. But now I realize that I was used for their purposes and gains only. And being let down by someone who you looked up to almost half your life. Now I must pick up my pieces and put them back together. And move forward...

Who am I anymore

When I turned 18, I started working with a family member who did photography and videography, something I had always dreamed of doing. At first, everything felt amazing. But over time, his words started cutting deep. I was called slow, stupid, and made to feel worthless in front of others. Every mistake felt like a shot to the chest.

Eventually, I walked away. But since he was family, I still had to see him at gatherings and holidays, and each time, those old feelings came back. I even tried talking to him, hoping for understanding, but instead, I was met with silence and dismissal.

Even now, his words linger in my mind. But I have learned something powerful. If I let other people’s opinions shape how I see myself, I will never become who I am meant to be. So I let that pain push me to grow, and it has made me stronger.

Because no matter what anyone has said about me, I am still standing. Still learning. Still becoming the man I am supposed to be.
