Through the use of therapeutic sounds and instruments that produce natural overtones of specific frequencies, AMAZA (which means ‘waves’ in isiXhosa) Sound Journeys provides a neutral and timeless space in which to analyze and reprogram long-held habits and beliefs. Through music, one can reawaken and make peace with their spiritual core.

Both artists are interested in the revitalisation of indigenous knowledge systems from around the world, especially as they relate to music, medicine and spirituality, and are interested in the use of sound and music to alleviate physiological and emotional distress.
