WeIl it is the longest ride I have ever run and it feels at times just like a gun held to my head until my temples bled, I try to get away at night it is ever dark but still I am haunted by the thoughts, by the thoughts of us

As if nothing had changed we go on each our own way but there was something kind of subtle in the way that it started gnawing at both our hearts so dearly how we cling to what is free

But when I go down as I fall on my face I thought it couldn't be true when I go down I could follow you everywhere but then I thought

it is just some kind of snake that comes right up through my face to breathe can't you see it feeding on me

Like fire from the sun

It was short it was bright, it was so much more than I could have ever managed to get ac-customed to, still feel the warmth It’s like a fire that could burn from here until the end of time and maybe more
 
It’s like I pry open a door to the sky Couldn’t you please open your eyes,  for me to see what’s inside It’s like a fire, just like fire, feels like fire from the sun


It was colder than fright, so much so that I could never have gotten to get it to be accounted for more than the fifth of my life, even though it surely feels like I must have died, and more than twice. 

It’s like I ride a thunderstorm on a kite Couldn’t I be for this once in my life able to feel more than spite It’s like a fire, just like fire, feels like fire from the sun

Could it be I was wrong for wanting all of this although from here it felt so strong as if calling my name but there’s no way I would kneel, I'll take it with me, back in here where it belongs

It was warm, it was ripe it was so much more than I could have ever figured, to be acknowledged for…
No more than a word surely might have been more than enough to reveal its limits, so everyone could see…
