Like the forgotten soundtrack to an overcast day, "Going Down" by Hungarian producer AMB seeks to explore an inner restlessness in the listener. A perfect storm of downtempo, techno, RnB, and future bass vibes permeate this seven track EP, acting as the perfect illustration of this songwriter's diverse skill set. Moody strings are interwoven with shadowy bass laid bare on a bedrock of intelligent percussion, setting up a tender yet climatic atmosphere for the album. Toward the end of the journey, legendary bass music producer The Widdler flips "Night Slide" into a highly emotive excursion through future garage, concluding things in a fitting fashion.
