At its core, Mandela’s music can be descried as real African fusion. A blend of traditional
East African rhythms alongside Benga, fused with Afro beat, Jazz and a dash of Reggae,
Mandela’s unique sounds and lyrics are not only magical and engaging but also emotional,
addictive and truth hitting.
At the age of 27 with over 10 years’ experience working as a singer, songwriter and
preforming artists, Mandela has performed at the following international festivals:
 Sauti Za Busara in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
 Selam Festival in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
 Bayimba International Festival in Kampala, Uganda.
 DOADOA cultural market in Jinja, Uganda.
 East Africa Vibes Concert in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
 Africa Oye Festival in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
 WOMEX in Budapest, Hungery.
 Roskilde festival in Denmark.

Having just finished recording his 6-track EP, Mandela is now ready to pursue his solo
career, and will release his first singles in October 2017.
