This is 'Ecdysis': The process of shedding skin. A collaborative event between Sandra Lawson-Ndu (on vocals) and Doug Stuart (on upright bass);  both a part of Bells Atlas, Nora Barrows-Friedman (on cello), John Fatumise Provost (on drums), Keenan Webster (on kora and flute), and myself (on vocals and balafon). It bloomed in January of 2010 atThe Noodle Factory in West Oakland.
