“It was all about living the experience, right from the start.”

When Matthieu moves to Paris in 2012, his cousin Julien works as a sound engineer in a recording studio. They both share the same passion for rock’n roll and dream about putting a band together.

They begin writing songs, bringing a wide range of musical references to the mix. Julien’s friend Maxime joins them as a drummer not much later. After a few days of rehearsals, the band expands with the arrival of Brice. He just took up singing and brings fresh air to the band, along with guitar melodies he has in mind.

“Brice’s voice and guitar riffs gave our songs a whole new dimension.”

The band finally comes full circle right before a first gig at the famous Rock’n’Roll Circus. Back from a tour in the US, bassist William joins them. After playing their songs on stage for the first time, Amber Lines is alive and ready to move forward.
