Nashville artist, songwriter and producer Alex Angelo has enjoyed recent success with his song STUCK, featured on several curated Spotify playlists, including New Music Friday playlists from territories all over the world. He continues to write and produce for himself and other talented, noteworthy artists in Nashville with several releases set for 2023. Since moving to Nashville in 2019, he has written and produced several country songs and this is his first release as an artist that leans into the country music genre. Taking cues and inspiration from artists like Dan and Shay, Alex created Checkin In- which is a beautiful take on someone still holding on and “checking in” on someone after a relationship has ended. 
 
Now 22, living in Nashville, TN,  Alex has grown as a producer/songwriter learning from the likes of Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio Dixon. (Chris Brown, Bieber, JOJO, Omarion). David DQ Quinones (Beyonce, Demi Lovato, Brandi) Patrick "J. Que" Smith (Usher, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Fantasia Barrino, Ciara, Avant, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, The Gospellers, and Omarion.) He continues to songwright and produce music for himself and other artists.

“Waco” is the second chapter in a storyline that began with Scott's previous release “Taylor (not the name of my guitar).” Listeners were swept into a nostalgic look back at a “perfect love affair” that went sour after Scott’s ex dumped him to date his best friend – a detail that all but guarantees an outcry from the crowd at Vân’s live performances.

“Ticket to Waco'' is about the struggle in deciding whether to fight for someone or let them go. “I never told anyone this, but I bought a plane ticket to go see my ex so that I could try to win her back,” Scott shares. “I’m a hopeless romantic so it seemed like a grand gesture that could change the whole picture. But I never ended up going. Ultimately, I figured she had moved on and I would seem desperate or psychotic for showing up at her doorstep. Sometimes I wonder what would’ve happened if I had actually boarded that flight.”
