Saini Surinder is already riding high on the success of the international hit ‘Rendeh’, which saw him team up with Dr Zeus in early 2013. The ‘Bindrakhia Tribute’ will see Saini Surinder end the year in a similar fashion. A unique collaboration between UK’s finest musicians, the song re-creates the best moments of the iconic Surjit Bindrakhia’s musical heritage.
 
The ‘Bindrakhia Tribute’ once again brings together one of the most prolific duos in modern Punjabi Music; Saini Surinder & Gupsy Aujla. Having already delivered a plethora of hit singles including; ‘Bhangra’, ‘Get Funky’ ‘Sida Sada’ & ‘Gabru Rangeeleh’. The music maestro Gupsy Aujla delivers an outstanding musical performance, delivering justice to the iconic lyrics first penned by Shamsher Sandhu.
 
The tribute, dedicated to arguably the great Panjabi singer of all time, Surjit Bindrakhia, who’s untimely death in 2003 left a monstrous void in modern Punjabi music. The ‘Bindrakhia Tribute’ sees Saini Surinder re-live the timeless classics of Surjit Bindrakhia 10 years on. With classics such as ‘Yaar Bolda’, ‘Dupatta Tera Sat Rang Da’ & ‘Bas Kar Bas Kar’ all re-produced and re-sung in this tribute.
 
With all the music produced by Gupsy Aujla, ‘Bindrakhia Tribute’ also features a number of talented individuals including; Jatinder Singh Shergill (Sarangi), Juggy Rihal (Tabla , Dholki & Additional Dhol), Paul Sampson (Guitar), Jelly Manjitpuri, Shiv Marli & Team (Backing vocals) & Tom Lowry (Mixing – Planet Studios)
 
Speaking on the tribute, Saini Surinder states;
 
“Surjit Bindrakhia is my idol. Growing up, he was the one singer that I looked up to. I studied at the same college in Punjab as Surjit Bindrakhia, so he was always my inspiration when I first began to sing & still is to this day.
This tribute for me is a very special song and I wanted to make sure it was done in a special way. I have tried to deliver my best vocal abilities to try and do justice to the great hit songs. But there is no one better than the original Surjit Bindrakhia – he will always be No.1”.

After the worldwide success of his debut album "Bhangrafornia," featuring the well received song "Kente Wale Gabaroo", North American producer Hargo Boparai is back with a brand new single in collaboration with producer Arpan. The single entitled "Taur," features the melodious vocals of Jaggi Singh, accompanied by music and a style that is atypical to the Punjabi/Bhangra scene.

An understudy of Ustad Lal Singh Bhatti, Hargo learned the value of a traditional style of Punjabi music with an equal balance of modern beats. One of the few producers residing in the United States, Hargo has worked with major artists such as Surinder Shinda, Master Saleem, Pappi Gill, and Bakshi Billa. In 2011 Hargo released an original album entitled "Bhangrafornia" which was in the top 20 on the I-Tunes world charts in the United States. His most recent project, a tribute track entitled "We Area All Sikhs" featured Sati Chohan and the Bol Punjabi De production team (Harvi Bhachu) gained national attention and was also featured in media worldwide. Hargo has established himself a pioneer of the Punjabi music scene in North America, beginning as a deejay, developing into a remixer and eventually maturing into a original producer.

Arpan, an electro and dubstep producer also based out of California, began his musical journey as a drummer for a rock band. Living and experiencing many cultures and styles, Arpan was born in Atlanta raised in Boston and India, eventually settling in the Bay Area, California. With influences from artists and bands such as Thrice, Skrillex, Dilllon Francis, and Zedd, Arpan is a talented musician that can also play both the drums and the keyboard.

The vocalist, Jaggi Singh is based out of Punjab, India and is a well respected and accomplished singer and song writer. He has worked with many major artists worldwide throughout the Punjabi music industry. A good friend of Hargo, this is the third project that Jaggi has contributed to for Hargo.

This blend of talent has been mixed seamlessly to create a unique sound in the single "Taur", a mix of bhangra and house. With the support of Tigerstyle's Solider Sound Recordings, Hargo and Arpan look forward to sharing their sounds with the world and let their music do the talking.
