Recorded in Lisbon, Winter 2017. I present the first volume of Synthesizer Ditties inspired by a bygone age of witches and wizards, knights and dragons, enchanted swords, haunted graves, sacred forests and regal kingdoms. Recorded almost entirely on a Korg Monologue + spring reverb / LN76 (TR-08 on some ditties also). I've not made the other volumes yet, but when i do, maybe i'll put it out as some sort of expensive compendium or do a limited dubplate run or something else annoying like that? Medieval Ditties Vol. 1.

This record is an extension of a foray into trance ritual music.
It's structured as a companion for film, meditation, vision seeking & sound rest.

It's by nature a nature worship record, combing acoustic percussive improvisation, sensory foley, vocalized staccatos, and a specific brew of physical/metaphysical sound relations....mind hush/thought flush/spirit rush/sun rise.

Inspired by an initiation ceremony of the Bwiti/Fang people of Gabon. This collection relays a fragmented branch of timings of this ceremony. Plus proposes alter paths for the sacred (Mougongo) instrument.

Recoded + Restructured + Reflected as a time capsule.

With fullest respect/blessings to breeze the Bwiti understandings through current climate.

Proceeds of this record will be donated to Tata-Yo (Nganga), Ebando.

From way of Berlin we are very pleased to welcome the 6 piece psychedelic outfit of 2Morph.

Perhaps unknown to many, this group of friends (father & son included) have spent the past two Summer’s travelling the wilderness of Europe in their bus - winding through the hillsides & mountain tops, beaming out their live band freak-outs for select village goers.

This 50 minute cassette of 100% OG material, hauled back from their recent trip to the mystical land of Panaceum (a hidden valley in Germany rumoured to house the elixir of life's ails) is naturally well soaked on a Krautrock tip - with psychedelic hymns & hypnotic percussion, detaching from the linear plane. 

Float down stream & let your mind wander outwards to the healing sounds of 2Morph.

This week's Rubber Tijd is served to you fresh with a side weirdness by Derozan. Based in Nieuwegijn (the Netherlands), Derozan is interested in exploring global dance music. In his own words:

"This two hour mix will guide you thru the rough edges of global dance music. Why two hours? Because then there is space to listen to the smaller details like a transition going left and right that is maybe intended or just a human mistake? Tiny soundFX with beeps and bops and tempo switching for the adventurous type. Rhythmic noise patterns combined with traditional percussion instrumentals for a better understanding of the term global dance music. And then we have the vocal part where society is being addressed for the current state we as people are going thru right now..."
