Complex oscillators provide a winding, helical, rhythmic pulse that is complimented by the interplay of four French Horns. Accompanied by a chorus of birds, waves and gentle synths. All made with @reasonstudios Reason 12 using @marketing-audio-modeling Swam Horns.

I was inspired by a YT video on VCV Hacks by Jakub Ciupinski and his Smooth Sinc (sync) and applied his technique in Reason using Complex-1 where the primary oscillator ring mods itself to create a windowing function to run a complex oscillator through (wave folded & distorted). Nearly every parameter is being modulated with varying degrees of S&H randomness gives a sense of "life" to the voice.

I've been exploring improvised performances with myself using the Touche expression device. There's a lot on my mind - friends and loved ones deep in struggle. May we all rise up and have cause to celebrate.

Riperian Quartet

I was gifted with a pleasant surprise from a calligrapher in Scotland who wrote out "BonkWave" in Lapis Majuscules for me. It inspired this exploration of Blippoo Box (in VCV) which I lovingly gnawed upon with my Shermanik Filterbank Bitwig fxGrid preset for extra character. French horns and Tuba serenade along to a crunchy beat.

Today some #DrumNBass climbed out of my brain and into #BitwigStudio - I was inspired by #CinematicLaboratory on YouTube and his post about #MutableInstruments #Elements and I built a wee patch in #VCVRack and brought in my #AccessVirusB (Viper VST) and an easy beat with some #AcidBass. Could be #BonkWave or may #NotBonkWave - either way it was fun!
