Our 45th offering welcomes two international artists on remix duties. Hailing from the island of Sri Lanka, SAJAY is an advocate of underground electronic music amongst his peers. He draws inspiration heavily from his roots and upbringing in Kenya. Having only begun his production journey in 2018, SAJAY has managed to land releases on Juicebox Music, onedotsixtwo, Mango Alley, and Soundteller Records to name a few.

Next in line, we enlisted the skills of a young and talented Argentinian producer, Nacho Quaglini. With releases on 3rd Avenue, AH Digital, Sound Avenue, and has already received support from Hernan Cattaneo for his bootleg of 'Quivver - Nothing New to Feel', his career is off to an epic start.

Kicking things off with 'Asuba', Nacho Quaglini delivers us a gentle and organic rework of the original track. Nacho keeps the ambiance and elegantly accompanies it with his signature drum groove that sits perfectly amongst the dynamic layers of percussion and sounds of nature. The pads come and go throughout, with soft keys that will allow you to drift away in the beauty of sound.

SAJAY adds his progressive flair to 'Yamma', taking you on a never-ending journey, filled with underlying harmonies that lead you to the bridge of the track, letting you slip into the unknown before bringing you into a groove with a captivating build-up. Filled to the brim with exploration and hypnotizing elements, this is sure to get any dance floor moving.

Releasing his debut EP, Sebastian Moriarty presents ‘Burnside’ on Ambious Records. 
Sebastian Moriarty's sound draws influences from the likes of Amtrac, Durante, Mall Grab and Denis Sulta. Sebastian delivers a melodically driven EP, which features a Progressive House remix by the Russian producer Forty Cats, who has previously released on This Never Happened and Mango Alley. 

Starting things off with the title track, ‘Burnside’ introduces Sebastian's sound. A monorhythmic bassline and a 4/4 groove carries the track, allowing the melodic pads and lead to create a tranquil atmosphere with emotion.

Forty Cats flips ‘Burnside’ on its head with a bouncy, retro bassline, giving it a club oriented feel that will certainly get the dancefloor grooving. 

Up next is ‘La Brea’, taking you on a euphoric journey with its organic groove that's coupled with vocal harmonies and a natural ambience. ‘La Brea’ comes to a break that is filled with soft piano elements and a calming space before bringing you back into the drop that drives the track home.

Ending off the EP is ‘Grove’. A beautifully crafted piece that hits like a breath of fresh air on a summer’s day. ‘Grove’ is completely wrapped up in emotion. The lead and pads bring a sense of elation that allows the drums to keep an uplifting feeling throughout.

Victor Ruiz has been riding high on the crest of a wave with remixing Luzon - Baguio Track to great acclaim, to appearing on Herblut, Electric Ballroom and Sprout.

D-Nox again is causing a major fuss with his productions (both solo and working with studio partner Beckers) on Suara, Tronic and his own Sprout imprint to name just a few, and the D-Nox & Beckers remix of Quivver riding high in the Beatport techno charts as we speak.

As you may have guessed by our extensive coverage of all things Jeudi, we're quite the fans of Doctor Dru's imprint here at Data Transmission, with the outlet quickly becoming one of favourite labels in recent times. For the Hamburg outpost's latest trick, they welcome back Monte, who – you might well recall – impressed upon on the label with a number of releases that arrived to to great fanfare last year and thanks to the glorious sounds of the 'Radical' EP, we’re delighted to announce that the man behind the music has lost none of his nous in the intervening time.

The action gets underway thanks to title track and our choice for premiere, ‘Radical’, a rollicking rollercoaster of a track aimed squarely at peak time dance floors which motors along to give clubbers something to really sink their teeth into. Slickly driven synth lines underpin a sparse yet menacing vocal line full of promise, with the track heaving along as it flexes its production prowess for a cut sure to be finding its way into the sets of house music's more discerning selectors upon release. Backed by a remix from Man Power and frenetic B-side 'Simpler', which jam packed with off kilter energy, is similarly sure to pick up plenty of attention during the small hours in the coming months and add a spine-tingling sense of drama to any set it pervades.

Hot on the heels of the A-Sides Volume 5 compilation, Enrico Sangiuliano makes his return to Drumcode with his highly anticipated EP ‘Moon Rocks’. The heavy hitting four track EP shines a light on Sangiuliano’s tight, thundering production skills. The hoover heavy lead track ‘Moon Rocks’ is packed with booming percussion, intricate synths and brooding crescendos. The EP encapsulates Sangiuliano’s wide spectrum of sounds ranging from the fat bass line of ‘Moon Rocks’ to the more delicate harmonies shown within the ‘Dutch Kiss’ mixes whilst ‘Ghettoblaster’ sits somewhere in between.

Cadenza’s ‘Flow’ is the fifth release on the Ambious Records roster. The opening track, ‘Fire’, sets the tone with an eerie intro to a heavy-hitting EP disguised in emotion, progression and drive. Second up is ‘Flow’, an organic piano melody turned into a full-on melodic track with moody, sustained bass progression and beautiful breakdowns. The album’s black sheep is ‘The Current’ - a progressive techno track that gets down to business with dark, driving bass stabs and an electro feel. Closing out the album, ‘Ripples’ is a metaphor for the EP’s inevitable and anticipated effect on dance floors across South Africa in 2018.
