Our 45th offering welcomes two international artists on remix duties. Hailing from the island of Sri Lanka, SAJAY is an advocate of underground electronic music amongst his peers. He draws inspiration heavily from his roots and upbringing in Kenya. Having only begun his production journey in 2018, SAJAY has managed to land releases on Juicebox Music, onedotsixtwo, Mango Alley, and Soundteller Records to name a few.

Next in line, we enlisted the skills of a young and talented Argentinian producer, Nacho Quaglini. With releases on 3rd Avenue, AH Digital, Sound Avenue, and has already received support from Hernan Cattaneo for his bootleg of 'Quivver - Nothing New to Feel', his career is off to an epic start.

Kicking things off with 'Asuba', Nacho Quaglini delivers us a gentle and organic rework of the original track. Nacho keeps the ambiance and elegantly accompanies it with his signature drum groove that sits perfectly amongst the dynamic layers of percussion and sounds of nature. The pads come and go throughout, with soft keys that will allow you to drift away in the beauty of sound.

SAJAY adds his progressive flair to 'Yamma', taking you on a never-ending journey, filled with underlying harmonies that lead you to the bridge of the track, letting you slip into the unknown before bringing you into a groove with a captivating build-up. Filled to the brim with exploration and hypnotizing elements, this is sure to get any dance floor moving.

Releasing his debut EP, Sebastian Moriarty presents ‘Burnside’ on Ambious Records. 
Sebastian Moriarty's sound draws influences from the likes of Amtrac, Durante, Mall Grab and Denis Sulta. Sebastian delivers a melodically driven EP, which features a Progressive House remix by the Russian producer Forty Cats, who has previously released on This Never Happened and Mango Alley. 

Starting things off with the title track, ‘Burnside’ introduces Sebastian's sound. A monorhythmic bassline and a 4/4 groove carries the track, allowing the melodic pads and lead to create a tranquil atmosphere with emotion.

Forty Cats flips ‘Burnside’ on its head with a bouncy, retro bassline, giving it a club oriented feel that will certainly get the dancefloor grooving. 

Up next is ‘La Brea’, taking you on a euphoric journey with its organic groove that's coupled with vocal harmonies and a natural ambience. ‘La Brea’ comes to a break that is filled with soft piano elements and a calming space before bringing you back into the drop that drives the track home.

Ending off the EP is ‘Grove’. A beautifully crafted piece that hits like a breath of fresh air on a summer’s day. ‘Grove’ is completely wrapped up in emotion. The lead and pads bring a sense of elation that allows the drums to keep an uplifting feeling throughout.

About Faidel:

After my time at the conservatory, after supporting those boring and hard lessons, although this may seem incredible, I realized that I loved music based on loops, with simple melodies and repetitive rhythms, the darkness, the different... 

I liked to mix those songs than previous generations hated, with which I began, but above all, I realized that I wanted to do most was to create them, compose them, express my feelings in them, put aside those classical pieces, I wanted to create and compose the sound of which was in love.

The design, painting, sculpture, graffiti were also my allies, because they helped me understand other types of art; the art of the image, of the painting and its point of junction with music, reserving my spaces for creation, symphony, art, both musical and visual

Coming from two completely different backgrounds, the two members of DeepSouls ; Bradley Jones & Ofentse ‘Milo’ Raphadu met through mutual friends and immediately spawned a formidable friendship through their love of music, to be more specific, deep house brought the two together. Throughout the years the love for the music grew and thus allowing them to begin their career in DJ’ing, which initially started out as just a hobby, and avalanched into something bigger than each of them. Bradley Jones, a fun loving, self -proclaimed comedian is one half of the duo. Despite his surroundings growing up, found himself becoming ever more inclined to house music, old school hip hop and a pinch of RnB, but deep house has and always will be his first love. Milo, the more introverted character is other half of the duo, and was introduced to hip hop from a very early age, this was the beginning stages of his adoration for music and the wonderful sounds it consisted of, and formed an interest in the producing side of things. With influences from kwaito and house, he found deep house which he found will become a big part in his life. In their short yet increasingly growing careers as DJs , they have shared the stage with a plethora of some of SA’s most talented DJs in the industry such as Cody B, Sound Sensible, Renato Rodrigues, Malcolm Dexx, HouseKnights, Rob Toca, D'Ritmo, HouseHold Funk, Nick Essential, 2Lani the Warrior, Jazzuelle, Transmicsoul, Just Mo, The Priest, Nuno Estevez, Grant Van Rensburg, Jullian Gomes, Andi Dill, Kid Fonque and Lino to name a few, also featuring alongside an International; Mr Jesus Gonsev from Spain. Adding to events that they have featured at, they too have hosted their own events, in the effort to bring the beautiful sounds of deep house to the masses. "Music is what we love and it will always remain that way, We do it for the love and nothing else."
