Six Dimensions stehen für aufeinander aufbauenden, hypnotisch - treibenden Techno.

Die Jungs kennen sich eigentlich schon seit der Grundschule bis sie sich mit 19 Jahren auf einer Technoparty in Frankfurt wiedergetroffen haben. Seitdem sind die beiden unzertrennlich, und zogen vor 6 Jahren gemeinsam nach Hamburg, um weiter Musik zu machen.

Kurz darauf wurden Terminal23, Veranstalter der RETOX-Reihe, auf die beiden aufmerksam und so gehören sie mittlerweile als Residents und kreative Köpfe zum Kernteam.

Danach nahm das Ganze weiter Fahrt auf und die beiden wurden zusätzlich Residents im Baalsaal. Nach einer aufregenden Phase dort entschieden sie sich Mitte letzten Jahres ihre Zeit im Baalsaal zu beenden um Platz für neue Künstler zu schaffen.

In den letzten Monaten haben sie ein Konzept für eine eigene Veranstaltungsreihe fertig gestellt (6D.). Parallel läuft die Zukunftsplanung mit RE:TOX, aber auch die ersten eigenen Produktionen sind in der Premasterphase. Ob es 2021 was wird können die beiden noch nicht sagen, aber sie sind guter Dinge 2022 die nächsten Schritte zu gehen.

Dutch rising star Mirella Kroes has been closely affeliated with BALANS for many years. She plays our events on regular basis, because well.. we are fans! It makes us happy that she is getting full recognition in Holland lately for her deep, hypnotic, dark techno sound. With gigs at Awakenings Festival, WTTF festival the future looks contrastingly bright. She delivered a fantastic deep mix for our series, enjoy!

Here's what she had to say to us:

1.What is your relationship with Balans?

I met Darko seven years ago (i think?) in Doornroosje. Over the last couple of years we have become really close friends.

2.What do you do to try and stay in balance? Any tips & secrets you  
would like to share with us night folks?

Juicing! Plus working out two times a week in a 60 degree cabin. I try to eat mostly organic and get a regular sleeping pattern during the week. 

3.About the podcast, can you tell us the story behind the mix?

There's not really a story, it's a mix of some new, old and in betweens. It's definitely a reflection of the more deeper side of things. 

4.What gear did you use to make the Balans podcast?

Two CDJ's and a A&H mixer.

5.What do you have in store for us (gigs/releases) the coming months?

Something i'm very excited about is my debut at Awakenings Festival and the opening spot at the techno area of Welcome to the Future Festival. I'm also really looking forward to Balans at the Melkweg 12th of july.
