Exposure to industrial & electronica during the early teenage years laid the groundwork for an unwavering obsession with music. Soon after, dance floors beckoned - and an immersion into the rave scene built heavy bricks upon the foundation of a passion already set in motion. Electronic music soon became something compulsory, something mandatory.

A residency with stateside staple CRSSD offered a range of practice behind the decks, exploring the dynamic world of opening sets & sparking the inception of a journey into finding their individual taste, style, & sound.

Inspired by a wide spectrum of techno & electronica, time in the booth eventually transformed into time in the studio. Early support from refused. & Octopus gave footing for the first releases, marking the beginnings of the next chapter of exploration & expression. 

Travels through the Americas, Europe & Japan have given the opportunity to share collective encounters with those similarly consumed: to find meaning and connection in the present moment, to participate in that palpable experience between artist and dance floor. On the best of nights, they merge into one.

After a long hiatus, Miguel Duarte returned to the scene as a producer under the Holldën alias. His music has been released on such labels as Second State, Quartz Rec, Out-er, Affekt,



Born in Portugal, Miguel Duarte began collecting records at 13, DJing at 18, thus leading him to quickly become a regular fixture of the local rave scene in the Algarve, in the early 00's. 

Eventually, Migue founded his own imprint, Kuiper Noise, and went on to host "The Outpost" on Radio Solar FM, a techno show he himself conceptualized. 

His music has been released on such labels as Second State, Out-er, Affekt, and others as well as accompanying the stage with  999999999, ø[Phase], SNTS, Adriana Lopez, Antigone, and Boston 168 to name a few.

On Saturday,  April 2, 2022 REFORM will be taking over Catch One’s bustling bi-level venue with a 4-room House + Techno lineup. Located on Pico Avenue near Downtown Los Angeles, Catch One originally opened in 1973 and was the longest-running black gay dance bar in the city. It now serves as one of LA’s premiere multi-purpose venues, making it an ideal space for REFORM to host 20+ Techno, House, and Experimental artists across four rooms.
