Sound a whole lot like Nile, hence the name. In fact, the drum track is taken straight from "Annihilation of the Wicked", but played at half speed(!).

A riff made interesting with the use of minor, diminished, and 7th chords. Would work great as a fading outro.

A very lovely young lady inspired me to begin writing this song over a year ago, and even though the emotions it's trying to express now have faded along the hope they once sparked, I nevertheless felt that I had to finish it and dedicate it to her.

This is what metal will sound like in the future, extrapolating the tendency of bands these days wanting to play lower and lower.
I was changing strings on my bass, and figured I might as well see how much I could detune it. Here, I am dj0nting it in f#, two whole octaves lower than your puny 8-strings, and not even needing half that number.

F00t0re Dj0nt

Some nerdy, intellectual metalhead who's been playing the bass and composing for ages without really doing anything about it. I'm uploading this stuff to share with friends and hopefully get some attention beyond that. 

My compositions tend to gravitate around a thrash metal sound with technical/progressive elements and some considerable death metal influences. I hope to someday get a band together to put this material to use, but don't think I have the talent to carry such a project on my own shoulders. 

Everything here has been written in Guitar Pro, and had to be exported as midi and converted into Mp3 files in order to be uploaded - hence the terrible sound quality.
