King Smo - Pass Out (Tinie Tempah) ft. s.custard

A soundscape created through a continuous Foley recording at Brighton station, combined with some samples to create a rich audio experience of the train station. 
Begins on the train arriving at the station, through the ticket barriers into the main area of the station. Then travelling out of the station and ending at the roadside.
Recorded sounds include: a train arriving and another pulling away, surrounding human interaction, music from an upright piano in the station and announcements. Samples include: additional announcements and train sounds.

Brighton Station Soundscape

A cover of George Michael's Careless Whisper by 3 piece Brighton-based rock band King Smo. All engineered and produced by myself.

All instruments were recorded in the studio simultaneously with vocals being overdubbed last. This was to capture the live performance essence of the band and create a challenging mix with plenty of atmosphere but have clean vocals that would stand out.
