On July 5 I played in LA for a truly special event; Subtract On The Pier. It was one of the most intimate gigs in recent memory and will always hold a special place in my memory. There wasn't a second of the set that the crowd wasn't fully engaged and being able to play the sunset spot is always really special as the sun disappears and the vibe and emotion takes on a whole new life. Big thanks to Anton for putting on such a magical event and the crowd for being so on point. Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I did.

Monday night. It was still dark when I started. But everyone already sensed the first sunrise of this year’s Burning Man. I had arrived at the Black Rock Desert just hours before. After traveling direct from Germany which took more than two days.

I knew that the sun would rise 40 minutes into my set. I wanted to build everything around that. But when the sun indeed appeared over the dark mountains in the distant that moment, it was overwhelming. It felt like the music was manifesting itself now, with no more help from me, and we all were traveling into a new day together.
