My set at Lux Frágil on the 27th August 2022, real shit mistakes and all. From 4AM to 7:30AM. Had loads of fun this night and the crowd was just right.

Anka is a Leipzig based DJ and part of Italo Fundamentalo. Today we get to meet her other DJ ego bad:belle. From breakbeat and UK garage to ghetto tech, bad:belle takes you into a world full of funky and bouncy sounds. Influenced by dance and chant, she curates colorful and cross-genre sets. According the motto "all killers - no fillers" it's about heating up the dance floor and making people happy!

Since the age of 16 she has been regularly out and about in the subculture and often went to parties. She admires DJs who created atmosphere and so wanted to DJ herself for a long time. But only got access to it when moving to Leipzig. Since 2021/2022 she has been concentrating very much on music. For her, music was and is self-empowerment in a male domain, as well as a catalyst for thoughts and feelings.

The track selection was partly a feminist decision for her.. The mix takes up the debate about the right to self-determination with one's own (female/queer) body. It's about taboo female lust and self-confident handling of "feeling sexy". Based on the song of the same name "only for me", the mix is ​​an appeal for the right to self-determination and against the objectification of FLINTA. It is a plea for the liberation of the female and queer body from any norms and constraints. 
With this mix she wanted to create a musical space where FLINTA could feel sexy, safe and fierce.
