These tracks bring me back to the soundscape of a weekend getaway to the surfing town of Keramas. The central eastern coast of Bali is still unspoiled and the sunrise over the outlaying islands of both Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida are tantalizing, to say the least. Positioned to the north of Keramas lays the sleeping volcanic giant that is Mount Agung. Still active and packed full of fury, Agung keeps the earth of Bali at a persistent and powerful vibration. Agung and the Balinese locals inspire us to take it one day at a time, remaining present and appreciating the joy and magic within each moment. These tracks are an reflection of the emotions that I experienced while driving the backroads around keramas in the early morning. I hope that you too are left inspired by the escapism of this mix that I appropriately named Keramas. x
