Hello everyone!

It’s the middle of the summer and we are proud to present the first utterance of our new monthly podcast series with music from friends and foes of the Lurkmusik family. 
First artist out is our own Tallfan, with a live recording from the release party of Jidder’s debut album back in april this year. For those who were there you are welcome to relive the experience, all you other freeky freaks are in for a real treat. Tallfan, take it away!

Hej!! :)
Once upon a time not very long ago I travelled to a land not very far away: The Smålandian bonnavischa. Some Lurks threw a party, there was barbecue, beers was consumed and tunes were played. I am happy to share this recording of my contribution to the noise pollution in the surrounding area. Hope you will enjoy these tracks, many of which never before published online, but beware! This was made under the influence. Might i suggest you open a cold one or whatever you prefer, sit back and raise the volume. Imagine a bygdegård full of freaks and enjoy the ride.

Hello and welcome to the second episode of the official Lurkmusik podcast! Today we get to dive into the world of Gooutonahinote, who is presenting old and new tunes from the cauldron, freshly mastered and ready for your ears. 

ARTIST GREETING:

Wass good in da hood! Welcome back everybody to the LUrkmusik podcast. This is E speaking, AKA Goouto, the project manager for Gooutonahinote. For this episode, I have compiled a full hour of the strange sounds I've been recording in several locations here in the outskirts of the smolandian woodlands. As these sounds are being emitted on frequencies far from the human spectrum of hearing, I have been working day and night to convert and translate this information into audible material. 

This has proved to be a tricky process as these sounds has many strange effects on the human mind, and as a result my own sanity has been compromised several times.. Anyways, it is in my hopes that these effects has been mitigated through the translation process. But as I cannot know - you are listening at your own risk.

Nontheless, I hope this proves to be a enjoyable piece, hopefully furthering our understanding of the inner outer, less-known aspects of our universe.

Marius Bø is a figure within the northern hemisphere of the electronic music landscape, his artistry is deeply rooted in a profound connection to nature's atmosphere and the communal spirit of open-air gatherings. As one of the co-founders of the Oslo-based collective Ute, Marius' musical journey finds its origins nestled amidst the Norwegian forests. It is here, between the trees and rustling leaves, that his sound took root, hosting and playing parties deep in the woods. Founded in 2017, the Ute label boasts a cult-like following for its approach to psychedelic trance music as well as long form downtempo and chill out sounds presented on sub labels Sinensis and Translusid. 

Marius’ sets can be seen as a concoction of psychedelic atmospherics, renowned for his extended sets, generating dynamic tensions and sublime releases that work both the body and mind. Mastering different tempos and moods of deep hypnosis, he deftly connects the dots between old school records and futuristic soundscapes. Whether it’s ambient, idm, trance or techno, the Ute label-head seamlessly blends the sounds with a captivating elegance. 
From hazy braindance to high-energy vibrations in mist-shrouded forests, balmy shores and dimly-lit basements, Marius navigates diverse settings with his distinctive musical style that takes a gentle yet firm grip on the soul. 

His unique approach has brought him to iconic venues such as Pawnshop, Bassiani, and Macadam, and to international festivals like Monument in the heart of Norway’s forest, Organik on a hidden peninsula in Taiwan and Outsider Festival, deep in the Australian bush. Whether in intimate clubs or verdant outdoor landscapes, Marius' music carries an organic and trippy spirit that transcends time and space.
