“I do a monthly dance music podcast along with my mates Dave & Rik - www.tothebone.co.uk. We've been organising increasingly sporadic parties together since the mid-00s. I also play records at Beyond The Clouds (Corsica Studios), Bodyhammer and anywhere else that'll cover my cab fare home.    
 
We had one of our first To the Bone parties at the Grosvenor actually, with Sendex from Bunker records. Someone got stabbed at our original venue the morning of the party and the Grosvenor was a last-minute replacement. It worked really well – a reclusive Dutch synth geek playing live acid tracks in a south London pub. I like the carpet in there. It feels quite transgressive dancing on the kind of carpet your gran might have.  

The next Field Work’s going to be an all-dayer and I thought I’d record a mix that reflected that, which is a polite way of saying it's a bit all over the place really- In a good way hopefully. “

Everyone's Dancing, Nobody's Listening is a about the great club music that people hear on nights out but probably won't ever know the name of. Many of these im sure have been loved by dance floors, but go unnamed, and their creators go unknown.

I've been collecting records for this mix probably since early december, one or two of them you may have heard before, but for the most part I like to think that this will introduce you to some weird new music and artists that you haven't heard before. About half of the mix are vinyl only releases, and there was 5 or 6 more that I love but I had to leave out, such as 'Spooky's - Coolie Joyride EP', or 'Rushmore's - HOT001 EP', they will definitely be included in 'Everyone's Dancing, Nobody's Listening pt. 2!'
