An NYC-based DJ and producer bringing new and fresh energy to the techno scene Living in NYC gave Aurelio unique exposure to a wide variety of music, including Hip-Hop, Latin, Rock, and Electronic. He uses these diverse musical influences to breed his take on the modern techno palette. Aurelio masterfully blends the lines of electronic genres by embodying the best qualities of the house, techno, and trance. The organic sounds of the house, the synthetic textures of techno, and the euphoric melodies of trance are just some of the motifs incorporated into Aurelio's music.

As a DJ in NYC, Aurelio has circuited the local scene for the past five years to begin his journey as an artist. With shows at notable venues including Pacha NYC, Space Ibiza NYC, Verboten, Output, and TBA, he has been able to bring his sound to a larger audience. 2017 saw Aurelio expand his domestic reach in the USA by traveling to Denver and performing at Beta Nightclub. 

Aurelio also continuously establishes himself as a talented producer, having already worked with labels including IAMT, Bubblejam, De-Noize, and SoultStorm. Drawing support from artists including UMEK, Sasha Carassi, and Skober has proven that Aurelio's take on techno is becoming rousingly popular. The future lies brightly ahead as this new artist embarks on leaving his sonic signature.

Listen to all the tracks from my opening set at the legendary FOLD in London. The atmosphere at the Hydraulix Party was so special, and it was great to get the chance to speak to everyone on the night. No cameras allowed, so I thought it would be good to share with you all the amazing music that I played on the night. Expect the tempo to build with the true techno sound as the Hydraulix crowd entered the building, finishing off to a packed dance floor was a very unique experience. What a line to be part of in London, with the brilliant Ayako Mori turning things up a notch after my set, and then Angy Kore & Gabriel Padrevita blew the roof! The energy levels just kept rising all night with D.A.V.E The Drummer finished his set with a 200bpm monster! Add to that the stunning visuals from Phil, Jay and Justine. Love it in FOLD, as the team that run the place do an amazing job. Can't wait to do it all again soon. :)

AWASA APINTIE

Awasa is a cultural marron dance where the people are deeply connecting on the dancefloor led by the drum rhythms created on the Apintie drum.
The rhythms are driven by pace and connecting the dancers with shake instruments on their ankles to dance gracefully and with power. 

NDYUKA podcast will always be rhythmic and cultural inspired. With this mix here i emphasized the power of the low-end rhythms alongside mysteriousness and some deeper sections to switch up moods but never lose energy.

Freddy K, BASEMENT’s latest resident, takes over for BASEMENT 009. The KEY Vinyl label boss has been responsible for more than a few outstanding nights at the club, including our first-ever all-night-long set. If you know his name, you know his reputation: Freddy K is a bonafide underground hero, with a devotion to true-school techno that can legitimately  be called “uncompromising.” In this mix, he opens up a portal into another world, taking us deep into the heart of the spacious, psychedelic sound that is his calling card.

Bokilifu Boni born in 1730 was a freedom fighter and leader of the Aluku tribe. He fought and fought for the freedom of our people and raiding all plantations until his death 
due to warfare  in 1793.
Here i am talking about him hundreds of years later with inspiration of his strength and devotion. His legacy lives through our free souls today.

With this mix i took it back to the very basics. the mindset of one big story where the rhythms lead you to hypnotize if locked in. Simplicity, with a less is more mentality. Inspired by the pace of the Apintie drums which is always fast and rhythmic.
