Here we are, right on time for the full moon and this month in the sign of Capricorn bringing waves of energy that are mixed in feeling and in frequency. 
This Full Moon is stirring things until we are unable to see clearly ahead ~ inviting us to see things from a different vantage point.

While all Full Moons represent a point of completion and endings, this Full Moon brings some wildcard energy that may scatter us or create a feeling of unrest or unease. We may feel ourselves being guided to let go and surrender control, but this work may challenge us.

It is key to keep your heart and mind open to forgiveness and, welcome the grounding, earthy, and supportive qualities that the Capricorn frequencies can bring. Focus on things that build a sense of security and stability, and know like all things, this too shall pass.

For this month edition I have a special guest taking over with a one of a kind journey, soundtracking the feels of this Full Moon with an hour of his own productions, @kondukukonduku ~ 

@kondukukonduku is a intuitive and brilliant producer with a love for Turkish percussions and polyrhythms ~ which he inherited from his Ankara-born musician father and his Balkan folklore dancer mamma.

Kondi creates beautiful realms and for this one he makes us dive into a trippy wormhole of unreleased newer bits from himself with forthcoming tracks soon coming out on @spaziodisponibile and forthcoming music in collab with Aa Sudd as Konsudd on @amenthia-recordings

GiGi FM Presents Konduku ~ NTS 23d June 2021

This set was recorded on the 15.12.21 at Pescheria in Rome with 40 people audience. Most of the tracks were played at the "wrong" speed.

This set was recorded in the National Park of Circeo on the 24.8.22 a few meters away from the Tyrrhenian Sea. There were 60 people audience lying on the sand, a few candles and a 4+1 Turbosound system.
I played my own productions including a few unreleased tunes.
Thanks to "Le Passeggiate Poetiche" and Exotique.it for making this possible.

Forest Drive West's DJ set at Monument Festival last year was an unforgettable experience, featuring a mesmerizing blend of mid-tempo rollers, tribal sounds, and seamless transitions between drum n bass and techno that kept the crowd dancing in the light rain of the Sunday afternoon.

To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

The Labyrinthの20周年を記念して、過去10年間を振り返り、それぞれの年からひとつのミックスをピックアップすることにしました。イベントの歴史を記録すると同時に、過去10年間のアンダーグラウンドエレクトロニックミュージックの歴史的なスナップショットを提供します。今聞いても色褪せない、タイムレスな極上のミックスをお楽しみください。

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

The recording of my set at Paral·lel Festival 2022 🌲⛰🧡 @parallelfestival

I was on 12.30-14.30 on Saturday afternoon. When I started playing, grey hazy clouds were still drifting across the panorama from Friday night’s storm, and by the end of my set, the sun was shining down on all of us.

This set meant a great deal to me, and being gifted the task of drifting from ambient expansion into trippy rhythms, coaxing everyone up off the floor and into movement, was such a dream.

#114 brings the talented Italian duo, Primal Code (@primalcodemusic), to the animix series, an act who have become known for their distinctively soulful & hypnotic interpretation of atmospheric techno.

Their recent release on @kalaharioystercult was one of my favourites of last year, a unique & modern fuse of dub techno, acid & modular sounds, resulting in a magically squelchy, deep, subterranean body of work. Before that, releases on the prolific @hypnus & @konstrukt cemented their style. This mix is a lovely continuation of that.

For Patterns of Perception 112, we're very excited to welcome back @kondukukonduku - a truly stellar all-round talent and dear friend of our collective. 

Four whole years have passed since we last featured Konduku in our mix series. In this time, he has reached new creative heights, adding textures, shades and vibrancy to his distinctive sound - in the process finding homes for highly touted releases on the likes of @spaziodisponibile, Mantis (via @delsinrecords), @nousklaeraudio, @amenthia-recordings (with @aasudd) and most recently @djnobu_bitta's Bitta.

As a DJ, his creativity and skills are similarly vaunted, and see him regularly take the stage at key festivals, venues and events across Europe and Asia. 

Recorded live at Patterns of Perception @ OHM Berlin on Apr 21, 2023, Konduku's Patterns of Perception 112 is a showcase of his thrilling abilities behind the decks. Unpredictable yet totally engrossing, this set is a profound tale of tension and release. Tightly wound grooves and eerie psychedelia leading us unerringly to ecstasy. A fine balance of intuition, control and spirit from a visionary artist in full-flight.

Patterns of Perception 112 - Konduku

"These records changed my emotional perspective on music." Recorded live at Dekmantel, the Italian techno artist dissects the records that shaped his approach to DJing and production.

There are few artists as widely respected as Donato Dozzy, who is known for his unique approach to building hypnotic, acid-infused atmospheres as a solo artist and as one half of Voices From The Lake. He is also a singular curator at the head of Spazio Disponibile alongside Neel, and a DJ with a reputation for building sophisticated and slowly unwinding sets at festivals like Labyrinth, Terraforma and Horst, as well as in public spaces and museums.

In this Exchange live from Dekmantel 2023, Resident Advisor's editor-in-chief, Whitney Wei, asks Dozzy about the songs that shaped his craft in our Playing Favourites flagship series. He takes us back to his childhood, playing the first track that introduced him to electronic music before moving chronologically through his life and the pieces that acted as lynchpins in his creative development. He discusses how he grew up in a musical household, listening to classical orchestrations with his parents before finding Italo disco and the stylings of Giorgio Moroder, Lory D and The Future Sound of London. These albums, he says, influenced how he builds his sets, leaning into slowly unfolding narratives as he moves from one track to another. "When I started releasing albums, I decided that I wanted to create stories," he says. Listen to the episode in full.
