Solidarity in Times of Corona means: leavenoonebehind 
We’re experiencing an unparalleled humanitarian, sanitary and political catastrophe. In face of the global Corona-Pandemic we need to act solidly united more than ever and support those who are particularly affected. Those are the elderly, poor, homeless, immunocompromised people and moreover the refugees and displaced people at the European borders. 

For how long can a person bear the inhumane conditions at the EU-borders? The circumstances in the camps on the Greek islands have been worsening for years. People seeking protection on the Greek islands and at the borders are exposed to heavy violence and systematic discrimination. Greece and the EU have in fact abolished basic human rights and the right for asylum in the past weeks. Refugees are being fired at, the conditions in camps like Moria are purposely kept inhumanely because the EU aims to deter those seeking shelter. Lawlessness is dominating where solidarity and humanity are needed the most. The situation in the overcrowded camps is disastrous and it lacks everything from medical aid to basic sanitary needs. The people are defencelessly exposed to the pandemic as they are trapped and isolated on the islands. Protective measures which are being carried out on the European mainland are simply impossible to be employed in the camps. (See more: https://seebruecke.org/leavenoonebehind/aufruf) 

In Moria, water is becoming rare and is distributed in dangerously low rations – immediate support is required now. Based on the statement by the NGO Seebrücke our collective has decided to publish a Soli-compilation as quick as possible. The compilation will be divided into 3 EPs which will be released on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday of the coming week. A variety of artists – 16 in total – from many different genres of electronic music will be on the release, contributing to the project. We are aware that this is only a drop in the bucket in times like these. However, any form of solidarity is needed at the moment . You can get the EPs at Bandcamp and all the money made from this will directly be donated to the NGO “Mission Lifeline”. (See more: https://mission-lifeline.de)

BIO:
Charlie, the Berlin-born and Kraków-based DJ, composer and producer, is one of the most active personalities in the Cracovian club scene. In SZUM, her club event series, she delivers diverse lineups to her audience, with both established and emerging artists from Poland and beyond. Together with the curators Arkadiusz Półtorak and Martyna Nowicka she also contributes to the visual art scene in Kraków as co-organizer of "Elementarz dla mieszkańców miast" (‘Handbook for City Dwellers’), a long-term project encompassing exhibitions, music events and film screenings that focus on the ever-changing urban culture of the 20th and 21st centuries, among other themes. As composer, she has delivered original soundtracks for exhibitions of visual artists such as Marek Chlanda (Museum of Art in Łódź, 2018) or Karolina Jarzębak (Elementarz dla mieszkańców miast, 2019), and for films of Maya Deren and Kenneth Anger (Lava Festival, 2017). In 2020 she presented her first multi-instrumental live performance at Jasna 1 in Warsaw, using a range of analog and digital synthesizers (VCO & DCO).

This label, which is focused on more undisciplined electronic sounds, has the facility to offer a truly appealing approach to electro within a smart percussive cosmos. La siguiente entrega de nuestra serie de Mixes viene a cargo de @wokem aka W-95.

@w-95 es un DJ con residencia en la capital. Su pasión por la música electrónica comenzó a los 17 años nada mas aterrizar en Madrid y desde entonces ha recorrido las pistas de baile de los mejores clubs de Europa.

Gracias a ello ha desarrollado un estilo propio en el que los sonidos electrónicos y los mas convencionales se dan la mano en sets en los que hay cabida para todo, del disco al electro, sin olvidar nunca el house cargado de amor.

Bajo su aka w-95 explora los sonidos mas contundentes de la electrónica en sets cargados de ritmos rotos, melodías infinitas, acid, techno, EBM, breaks y jungle para llevarte de viaje por la oscuridad mas bella y salvaje.

En la actualidad es miembro del colectivo multidisciplinar @recreomadrid, del colectivo Basshet x Brutalism y de los sellos/plataformas de apoyo a la música electrónica @art_intelligence_records, @roundnature y @zyrcadianeditions
