Billed as “An Alternate History of Pop Music”, the great Scott Bradlee leads the Postmodern Jukebox, a collective that creates great reinterpretations of current Pop songs, bridging different genres, orchestrations and eras with ours. As a Jazz composer/arranger/pianist originally before I got into loud obnoxious dance music, I obviously just can’t enough of their videos! This is a simple Re-edit I cooked up of their cover of “Maps” by Maroon 5 featuring Morgan James. I sped up the tempo and added some percussion for a sexy, NY Garage/Diva inspired House track.
