JAY BRADLEY: Hi I' Jay Bradley from the American College of Wealth and I'm here with my usual panel of experts

I've got Ray Daglish, we've got Nancy Tufiel, Riley Hurley and Fred Brathwaite.

Ray why don't you give people a quick background on yourself.  I know you went down and started in the stock market back in the late seventies

RAY DAGLISH: Thanks Jay. I joined the Sydney stock exchange in 1979 working on the trading floor as an operator and not long after that I became a registered options market maker.

In the early 80s I had the opportunity to introduce the first inter-bank broker on the foreign exchange market. And by the mid 80s, I saw a pressing need for my clients to learn about the markets and how to make money. 

So I became the first person in Australia to start educating the public on how to trade particularly in shares and options to make money and I've been doing that for 27 years.

JAY BRADLEY: Fantastic! Fantastic! Nancy you went down to the stock market in the 1980s make a name for yourself? Can you give us a bit of a background?

NANCY TUIFEL: Sure Jay. Thank you. I started my Wall Street career in 1982 at Smith-Barney. I was  the number two broker out of 12,000 at one point. I managed high net worth individuals and some celebrities as well, their portfolios. And I went after that to be the director of operations for the Securities Division at MetLife. 

So all-encompassing I've had 25 years of Wall Street experience.

JAY BRADLEY: Wow! Ok! Riley you're one of the youngest panelists. Your background as well,  so you're like a  foot soldier that's been doing it day in day out for the last five years or so yeah?

RILEY HURLEY:Yeah a little bit little bit over five years now just really just day in day out like you said whether it be real estate investments, investments in the stock market. Dealing really with a lot of people  that are just first starting. Especially my generation  as well as its not very popular for people in the Y  generation to go through and start investing.

JAY BRADLEY: Sure.

RILEY HURLEY: It may be something you trying to do when you're
older. But how to set yourself up now, take advantage of the experts in this field and also the new  technologies that have come out so really just helping  people get started and make money also maintain.

JAY BRADLEY: Fantastic! Fantastic! And Fred your background is that you've been doing this since the 90's you've been in investments.

FRED BRATHWAITE: Yes primarily in the real estate market helping investors find their dream vacation homes in the United States also internationally. In addition to that helping them find opportunities and distressed properties worldwide.

JAY BRADLEY: And when did you get started?

FRED BRATHWAITE: Back in 1994.

JAY BRADLEY: Fantastic okay so there you have it, that's our panel of experts.

JAY BRADLEY: Now I want to get onto one of our most frequently asked questions. The 
most frequently asked question we are getting here is how to make money online? I'm
going to throw this out to Nancy.
Nancy, how do people make money online? Because it is so vague.

NANCY TUIFEL: You know it IS very vague. There are so many ways to make money online
these days. It's such a hot topic! Obviously I feel that the best way, the easiest way
is to make money in the stock market online. As long as there is education and there
is coaching and training I believe that anyone can do it.

JAY BRADLEY: I agree. I agree the stock market is definitely a hot topic.
What about yourself, Ray?

RAY DAGLISH: Yes I agree with Nancy and I think Nancy, we would also look at you've got to make sure you have the most up-to-date technology available.

NANCY TUIFEL: Absolutely! Very important!

JAY BRADLEY: I agree. And Fred, your background being in real estate, do you agree the stock market is the best way at the moment to make money online? Is there other ways? I know there's buying and selling domains. I know that there's a lot of ways of making money.

FRED BRATHWAITE: The stock market online is a fantastic way to make money. Things have changed the way investors should invest in stocks. The market has completely changed. A lot of opportunities in the stock market currently.

JAY BRADLEY: I agree. So would you say that it's safe to say then that the best way to do it on the stock market is to obviously to get an expert to help you out. 

RAY DAGLISH: Yes, you need someone who's been through the mill. Someone whose been successful and can guide you through the process. And I just want to go back to the online trading, Jay. One of the great advantages to the stock market is what we call its liquidity. Your ability to buy and sell very quickly and realize profits. And I wholeheartedly agree - real estate's a valuable investment but it is what we call an ill-liquid market. You can't buy and sell everyday or very quickly.
