This is the third track of voicemail messages of thanks to the troops from supporters across America.  The American Heroes CD contains six approximately eight-minute tracts of voicemail messages—a total of 125 messages in all.  The American Heroes Program established a toll free “Thank the Troops” hotline and promoted it nationally, which good Americans could call in to and leave voicemail messages of thanks for the troops.  We received thousands of these messages and selected 125 of the more moving voicemails to include on the American Heroes CD.  Six original, inspirational pop/rock songs are also included on the CD that were written and performed by Live Free™.  Two of these songs were written specifically for the project, “American Heroes” and “Don’t Tread on Me.”

The American Heroes CD has been produced by the Live Free(tm) band and its founding member, A. James Mayer, along with his eldest son, Adam Mayer, especially for the American troops. It is a tribute to the honorable men and women serving (and who have served) in the U.S. military.  Thank you troops!!!

This provided a way for Americans to call in and leave voicemail messages of thanks for the troops.  We received thousands of these messages and selected 125 of the especially moving voicemails to include on the American Heroes CD.

The six original, inspirational pop/rock songs included on the CD were written and performed by Live Free™.  Two of these songs were written specifically for the project by James Mayer: “American Heroes” and “Don’t Tread on Me.”

The American Heroes CD was conceived and produced by James Mayer and Adam Mayer, a father and singer/songwriting and production team, for the American Heroes Program, and initiative of Live Free, Inc..  Adam and James were the sole members of the band Live Free™ at the time.  James and Adam, collectively and individually, wrote and recorded all songs as noted.
