Glass flowers is a couple of early tracks off my solo music project. Cocoon was made as a commission piece for a student film about native insects in 2021, and Glass Flowers, a B side from an unreleased 7 track album composed in 2018. A piece that was a self challenge to write a song mixing my influences of Porcupine tree, Opeth and Lunatic Soul within a regular song structure.

Glass Flowers

The last track in the Serpent Dream EP Nova, 2021.

Nova is a multi-media cohesive audiovisual project, combining composition, sound design, and audio manipulation. Combined with a multi-faceted visually psychedelic projection.

"Inspired by travels with friends. It started as an idea to articulate this mantra we have; to follow our passions. We had been talking about how all-consuming work, social norms and cultural ideas all kinda set us up with self-doubt and neurosis, and for many, deep feelings of depression and anxiety.

Using sampled audio of these conversations I formed a narrative, a thread of individual experience and perspective that articulates the innate urge inside us to create and explore within our world."

Heart Garden

A very fun experiment from 2018 or so.

This track was me just playing around with a drum loop that turned into a twisted guitar bass and keys jam, then seeing how far I could push the audio manipulation in post.

The sound at the end was made with a tea pot and at least 8 delay feedback loops.

Acid Mouth

A demo from 2017 or so, exploring a very different sound and inspiration to what I normally make!

It never found a home anywhere so now it is here :) 

Psychotic Release - Demo

A commissioned audio work for a short film I did back in 2021. The majority of sound was designed from smashed glass samples captured on set during filming.

Coil was the result of an experiment into sound collage, combining a large selection of samples into a new work.

Ocean Sky, from Serpent Dreams 2019 EP The language of things.
This track and the rest of the record was an exploration of time and place, creating a mix of field recordings from around NSW Australia with instrumentation and sound design to express the feelings of the beautiful natural environments that were visited whist traveling.
