Quarter Life Crisis [EP] Available Now!

Welcome, from the boys of A.M. Eyes! We thank you for stopping by to get to know us a little better.

A.M. Eyes is an rock band based out of Tucson, AZ founded in late 2009 by Victor Castaneda, J.C. Jewett, and William Hilburn; all of whom have spent nearly a decade playing in the DIY band circuit. The band focuses on carefully crafted songwriting, injected with energy and positive inertia inspired by struggle.

However, A.M. Eyes is not just a band. It is an art project. In which, all the members have backgrounds in multiple fine arts. A project, that exists to integrate the many forms of art through different mediums and unite, inspire, and captivate as many individuals as they possibly can to constantly push the envelope and provoke profound thoughts and ideas. All the while, involving the community and their friends in every way possible, so the final creations take on a life of their own and are greater than the sum of their parts.

The band released their self-produced debut record “Quarter Life Crisis [EP]", in January 2012 at their CD Release party, which brought in 250+ people and was well received. This record is the first professional quality production any of the members have been a part of. It is a labor of love, offers casual and catchy complexity, and is intended to give the listener a glimpse at what the band is capable of creating.

Collectively, in their time as dedicated DIY musicians, they have shared the stage with big name bands such as Avenged Sevenfold, Haste The Day, Versus the Mirror, The Number 12 Looks Like You, The Bled, Boy Sets Fire, Scars of Tomorrow, The Fall of Troy, By Deaths Design, Halifax, The Sleeping, and The Higher. Additionally, they have experience playing venues in Tucson, Phoenix, Vegas, and other various areas in their region.

Since this band’s inception, they have shared the stage with Unwritten Law and The Ataris, in some of Tucson’s best venues. Their high energy, humor, and positive messages have earned them a sizable local following and the respect of venue owners and promoters.

The members of this band all have a background in multiple forms of fine arts. Given the right resources, the band plans to expand into an integrated art project, blending music, film, theater and art in unique ways to blur the lines and definitions of art in innovative and revolutionary ways.
