"Numen" is a digital piano suite telling divine stories of greek goddesses and nymphs. This suite emphasizes magic and mystery through enigmatic trills, sparkling arpeggios, and more.

The first piece, Epione, is about the goddess of healing. The trills of bleeding, followed by a dance of healing and a disorienting spell all detail a mysterious encounter with Epione.

The second piece, Selene, tells the emotional story of a mercurial moon goddess during one eventful night. With the moon rising in the intro, life coming out in the night, and the still ocean morphing into a hectic series of crashing tides, Selene is a soft piece with brash moments of chaos.

The third piece, Hyades, describes many elegant nymphs that bring rain. It includes many intricate, wavy, and scattering sections that all allude to various forms of rain.

amidst the break of day spawns a new mind,
a wanderer of the sea sails across the mercurial waves..

the wind shouts stridently, bringing the waves to swell with fervor and crash down on him

the rain drops float above the breathing sea, shining a hundred relucent mirrors upon him

the fleeting sun paves passage along the skyline, remaining dusk shimmering on every aqueous face
it coats him in an orange solace, offering warmth for the approaching night

as the lucent moon wafts through the sky, the sea holds its breath
following a presaging stillness, the sea exhales in cascading lustrous waves

opaline lights flicker under the dim waves, revealing streams of kinetic life
he sinks willfully into the sea, coalescing into the streams

he was dragged ruthlessly into the raging tempest, consumed by mountainous waves
only was he rescued by moonlight shattering the clouds, raining light over the frenetic sea

the remedial waves lulled the wanderer to sleep, 
his dreams passed in swells as his mind drifted away from the sea

The air is suffused with wisps of color
interlaced with oil, they fight
a battle with paint,
sciamachy in a burst of white.
