In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove. With the 'Shikaago' mix series, @thomas-log DJ French Thomas & Ami 8 pay homage to the classic house sound, which emerged from the Windy City in the early 1980's. Repertoire old and new.

In this fourth outing, Ami 8 takes the mix series to the Ukrainian coastal city of Odessa. DJ French Thomas and I were supposed to mix this together, but at the last minute, he abandoned me for more pressing engagements in Mykonos. Not only did I have to show the two lovely ladies in the photo around, by myself (and put up with their fighting), I also had to mix this installment solo. Bugger! :) 

Enjoy the classic Chicago sound, which evolves into filthy melodic bigroom house, and resolves with dark driving afterhours prog, reminiscent of Bedrock Records and Global Underground!! Bonne écoute, les ami.e.s.
