Here is the backing track for the last song on my album "Neither Loved Nor Tolerated". I thought I'd upload it because it struck me, whilst recording it, that it was like some demo for an unused Bond theme. I liked it for this reason and also because the lyrics for the actual song change the mood a bit. This version is pre-mastering and an earlier mix.

Felt like messing around with an old song. I've sped it up a bit and compressed it to, probably, silly levels. Just an exercise in multi-band compression more than anything else. I had another go at doing this in 2016 with some additional instruments.

SURRENDER Remix 2015

I recorded this in 2007 (or at least it says I did in the file date that I did) while just messing around. I think I was trying to do one of those "No musical instruments, only voice" type deals but I must've changed my mind at some point because I plonked some guitar on there and some awful mandolin playing. This was more of an exercise rather than anything else.

Don't Let the Door Hit You

This is a mid-mix version of Like You Mean It, a song from a project I recorded in 2017. It didn't have any vocals at this point. I quite liked the track without vocals and thought it might be nice to put it up.

This is, if anything, a demo from a demo. I did most of the multi-track recording of this back in 1999/2000 entirely using Soundforge. This was stupid of me because I was just pasting tracks on top of tracks with little to no mixing involved. Somehow I ended up with something resembling music. My PC then decided to break, this was back in the floppy-disk days, so I ended up having to edit it (badly) so it'd fit on a floppy disk as a 96kbp mp3. Everything was played live and recorded by me except for the samples at the beginning, which were lifted from the movie "Pervirella".
Fast forward about ten years and I was curious as to what I could salvage from it. I did this between the recording of my 2nd and 3rd album. It's a bit different to what I usually do. I had been listening to Ginger's "GTT" from "Valor del Corazon" a bit too much, maybe. The track remains scratchy as hell but that was more because of the original material having been recorded so poorly.

WiP2010

This a demo song recorded in late 2005. It's an acoustic piece and is performed with a classical guitar. It was adapted from something I'd recorded a few years earlier following the disappearance and death of someone I went to school with. Originally it was played by a solo, clean, electric guitar with a huge delay.
