Cosmic JD is a Colombian-born Producer and DJ based in Toronto, Canada. Highly regarded as a key player in the underground house and techno community both in the city and abroad. JD has received a quick notoriety with his records on Seekers, Subsequent, Melcure, Variable and his most recent on Varme. A talent behind the decks, in the studio, and behind the scenes, JD’s drive, skills and continued commitment to the underground make him an artist to keep watch on.

1997年発売のプレイステーションゲーム『風のノータム』。
発売から四半世紀が経過した今、ファンの間で熱望されていた伝説的オリジナル・サウンドトラックのCD/2LPでのフィジカルリリースがついに決定！！

『風のノータム』は、『A列車で行こう』シリーズ('85以降)や『アクアノートの休日』('95)などの人気シミュレーションゲームの制作で知られる株式会社アートディンクより1997年に発売された。タイトルの「NOTAM（ノータム）」とは航空用語で、「NOtice To AirMen（飛行許可証）」の略語。開発者による“風が私たちのフライトに飛行許可証を出す”という意味が込められている。

気球を操作し、「ラウンド」「トライタスク」という2つのモードにおいて条件をクリアしていくゲームで、気球操作の現実性の高さと、天気・時間の設定が可能な3つのステージの世界観が話題となった。

そして、ファンの間で今なお語り継がれる理由の一つが、そのサウンドトラックにある。

アートディンク制作チームにより生み出された楽曲群は、電子音楽を軸としながらも、ゲーム音楽というジャンルには留まらず、アンビエント～ハウス／テクノ～エレクトロニカ～シティポップといった多種多様な楽曲、近未来的なサウンドとそのクオリティーの高さが評価され、サウンドトラック化が熱望されていた。

加えて、ジャケット・アートワークは、現在世界的に再評価されているシティ・ポップのイメージを創った永井博氏が担当。

ゲーム発売から25年後、色褪せることのない不朽の名作がついにオリジナル・サウンドトラック（CD/2LP）としてリリース決定！！

A quarter century after its release, the legendary original soundtrack is finally available as a physical release on CD & 2LP with an Obi strip!!

A Playstation game originally released in 1997, "NOTAM of WIND" fascinated video game fans at the time not only with its level of reality and difficulty to solve the tasks in the game, but also with its brilliant and ahead-of-time soundtrack.

"NOTAM of WIND" was released in 1997 by ARTDiNK Inc., known for producing popular simulation video games such as "A-Train" series ('85 onward) and "Aquanaut's Holiday" ('95).
The title "NOTAM" is an aviation term that stands for "NOtice To AirMen", which works as a permission to take off. The meaning is "the wind gives us a flying permit for our flight" according to the game developer.

The game, in which players operate a balloon to clear conditions in two modes, "Round" and "Tritask," drew attention for the realism of the balloon operation and the world view of the three stages, in which the weather and time can be set.

And one of the reasons why fans still talk about the game is its soundtrack.

The music produced by the ARTDiNK production team, while based on electronic music, is not confined to the genre of game music, but is diverse, ranging from ambient, house/techno, electronica, and city pop, with futuristic sounds and a high quality that has been greatly acclaimed, and a soundtrack version had been eagerly awaited.

In addition, the cover artwork was created by Hiroshi Nagai, who created the image of city pop, which is currently being re-evaluated worldwide.

25 years after the game's release, this timeless masterpiece that will never fade away is finally being released as an original soundtrack on CD and 2LP!!
