Nolan and Danny had been trying to get a project together for some time.  In their very first meeting together, the two of them put together an incredibly lush, emotional instrumental demo that required an even more heartfelt vocal.  After a follow up session with Tyler Graves, the idea of a duet came about, and the idea of 'Gravity' came to life.  The song focuses on that pull that someone else can give you.  When you're completely lost, that person can make you feel like everything feel okay.  In a unique multi-vocalist approach, each singer provides an opposing viewpoint.  Towards the end, Nolan and Tyler sing in harmony as the orchestral instruments take over and build to a massive crescendo.  "The gravity that centers me is you".

The process of making the Wild Winds EP has been an absolutely amazing time. The story of going with the flow and letting life take you wherever it leads you couldn’t resonate with me more. I’ve been in a stage of life where I don’t want to be afraid of going on a journey I may not be used to. We only have one life and I know it can be scary thinking about screwing it up. But I think letting things go and remembering to be in the moment and not being afraid to say yes to unexpected plans or journeys can lead you to some of the most memorable and fantastic times. This life is full of twists and turns, why try and control it when you can let the Wild Winds take you on a journey?

Dallas-based AMIDY is a multi-talented artist who is renowned in the melodic bass world for his work as a producer, singer, and songwriter. The track you are about to listen to has a melancholy melody while the drops hit you harder than ever. The dynamic between the verses and drops will definitely catch any ear. Also the singer on this track that you hear is me. You don’t really hear producers or dubstep producers in fact, singing on their tracks a lot. This song holds a pretty dear place to my heart as I wrote it about a hard time I went through. Going through this hard time I struggled getting through, but my saving grace was my girlfriend who I found was “My fortress when I am weak”. Going through it all I fought and fought, and now I am strong now. This song definitely isn’t just pretty melodies and hard drops, it has my story throughout it, telling people how just because everything seems pretty to the surface, doesn’t always mean everything is okay on this inside.
