invisible imperfections (prod. wissery)by amiiithiiist is about not being able to find the words to express your innermost thoughts in ways you wish you could, or finally finding the words but feeling like you're too much for anyone to want to listen so you decide to keep it in, resulting in feeling unheard and invisible.

its also about feeling like you've repeated yourself so many times but no one listens anymore. no one wants to hear about your invisible imperfections, no one cares unless they can actually see it.

other themes of not knowing who you are, where you belong in life, as well as black and white thinking are also present in this song.

i put a lot of emotion into this song, and it represents a lot of what i go through inside my head almost every day. i wanted to include a description to avoid any false interpretations.

i hope sharing my feelings can help others put theirs into words as well, even if im still struggling to do the same.

just know, you are not alone in this world, and you will find someone who wants to listen.

talk about it

this is a song (kind of, its only a minute long) i wrote/recorded in 2022.

i want to clarify that i don't resonate with the lyrics anymore, as i am in a much better place now. 
but a lot of time has gone by, and i feel like this song deserves the light of day.

making music was one of the only things that helped me thru this time in my life, and i hope that maybe it can help others who are currently feeling the same way now.

i have a few more songs from the archives ready to release, probably as an ep. the songs will range from time periods between 2019-2022 and will feature quite the array of emotions.

i hesitated to release them in the past due to not wanting to put too much of my life out in the world. i didn’t (and still don’t) want to stir anything up. and at the end of the day, i really just made these to help prevent myself from setting myself on fire tbh (not really but you get the point)

but honestly, i am glad i waited because that way i was able to process these things on my own terms.

doing it this way also makes it easier for me to transition into my newer stuff without feeling pulled back by my past stuff, if that makes sense. i can just put it all out there and move onto bigger and better things (seriously, i have SO MUCH to share with you all!)

but like i said above, making these songs helped me tremendously...and now its time for them to help others :)

this is apart of my ep of archives (coming soon).

i wrote the lyrics & recorded the clean vocals back in 2019. then, around late 2022 i added the screams. it was about a dream i had one night, as you can clearly tell by the lyrics. lol. self explanatory, i was going thru it. this is only going to be posted on soundcloud.

the instrumental/beat is called “damage” by born hero, who has since passed away (rest in peace). his beats were the very first ones i discovered when starting to dabble in making music, and his stuff sits close to my heart as i actually recorded my first few songs to his beats. most of those songs will probably never see the light of day, but i did post (then privated) one of them on soundcloud back then, and i remember he commented on it saying he liked it :’). he kind of was one of the reasons i started actually recording music, as i didn't play many instruments and didn't have a band to make music with (and making beats myself seemed so foreign to me at the time lol), so finding his stuff opened up a whole new world for me. although i didn’t know him personally, he seemed like a pretty cool dude and i wish his beats got more recognition.
