Fetish is back with the 7th edition of Warm Hearted People. This month, we have a longtime Fetish collaborator and friend, Nat Turner, on the decks! This mix came in hot and heady from the Mission District of San Francisco, California. Thank you so much for listening.

A few words from Nat about the session:

It is such an honor to be featured on Fetish Radio again! For this mix, I wanted to step away from my usual style of melodic techno and tech house and showcase the styles of music that I more often listen to but don’t have the opportunity to play out in my live sets. I wanted to feature breaks, whisps, squelches, flutters, and everything in between. This mix is much more emotional and ethereal...a window into who I am as a musical connoisseur. I hope you listen and get lost in the music as I do when I listen to these tracks. It’s an opportunity to press pause briefly on your life and truly escape into another world. Warm Hearted People No. 7 (Nat Turner)

Glad to have another friend of the house and label member providing us with a new #nowadaysmixseries. Aymeric is next to an excellent producer, one of our favourite DJ’s our city has to offer. Like many people, his musical journey started at Petrol where he got in touch with underground electronic music.

“Antwerp offers a bit of everything, I was a dubstep kid when I was younger, but through the diversity which is played throughout the city I quickly became interested in different genres. The life in a city with hypes, trends and creativity makes you curious about what is happening behind the corner.”

Together with his roomie Nathan Boost they are continuously making new music in their home studio. “Our dream is to start our own concept, kick things off with a record label where we can find a home for our own productions, and later create something which has the potential to expand in more than just a record label.”

Today we welcome @royabrehl to our mix series. Roya is a Leeds-based DJ and producer, playing a plethora of deep electronic sounds.

Over the years Roya has been an integral part of the Leeds music and nightlife scene. As a co-founder and resident at the Schwein parties, Roya played regularly at Wire and other respected venues across the city. Along with three previous Schwein residents, they are now part of The Off Licence, who have invited a diverse range of respected artists to their line-ups.

Roya is also is part of the team behind The Imaginarium, a new creative arts space and venue in Leeds, and is founder of the Hideous Things mix series.

The tracks operate as studies in unresolved repetition: the groove never explodes — it tightens, trapping the listener in a loop.
Every element undergoes a selection process before being allowed to exist; nothing is ornamental.
The structure is skeletal: dry percussion, micro-variations, and negative space charged with tension.
This is sound built at the threshold between the organic and the mechanical, where precision holds more weight than excess. The driving force of the music isn’t progression, but suspension — the constant possibility of something about to happen that never does.
