London’s Farah Nanji, AKA N1NJA is something special. She builds her hypnotic soundscapes using samples of ethnic instruments collected from across the globe, weaving them into a bespoke tapestry guaranteed to garner your intrigue. On 25th July, N1NJA brings you her sensational new single, The Vibe, available on Mobilee.

DJ MAG call N1NJA a “mega-talented, fast-rising star”. With impressive supporters such as John Digweed, Sasha, and Laurent Garnier, and packed dancefloors at revered clubs such as Pacha Destino, Space Miami, and the Steelyard, it is impossible to disagree. 

Press ‘Play’ on The Vibe. As soon as you hear the booming bass kick and tribal rhythm, you’ll agree that The Vibe is a perfect title. Yet there’s more to come. An intricate clap rhythm pricks up your ears, just in time for Mr V’s hypnotic, mesmerising vocal. 

“Imagine stepping into a world where the only thing that matters is the here…and now.” Dreamy, melodic synths kick in and you realise that you don’t even have to imagine. You’re there already. 

“It doesn’t require you to follow a specific path… it moves… with you”.
And as if by magic, you find that you’re already moving. The synergy between N1NJA’s production perfection and the punctual profundity of Mr V’s lyrics keep you spellbound until the end.

N1NJA’s third release on the uber cool, prestigious Mobilee label, The Vibe completes a trilogy along with 2023’s sublime A Frequency Illusion’ EP and 2024’s A Perfect Storm’ EP.

Sincopat is proud to present a powerful new EP from the inspired collaboration between the homies James Harcourt and AFFKT. Together, they deliver a release that blends emotional depth with refined production and club-ready energy, staying true to Sincopat’s forward-thinking ethos.
The EP opens with “Introducing the Band”, a captivating blend of analogue warmth and cinematic tension. Its evolving synth motifs, theatrical build-ups, and intricate percussion create a narrative-rich track full of personality, aimed straight at peak-time moments.
UK duo mOat follows with a captivating remix that reworks the original into an infectious piece of underground piano-house, a late-night journey that combines subtle textures, a dubby quality and the extremely uplifting and emotional piano line.
Closing the release is “Servitude”, a slightly darker, industrial-tinged cut that fuses raw synth lines with sharp rhythmic structure. It’s a tense, driving production that balances poise and power perfectly, capturing the pair’s talent for building drama, energy and emotion with sophistication.

Premiere: Robert Babicz - Love Is All We Need (Instrumental) [Kelch]

Blazing onto ICONYC for its 21st release, Swiss sonic alchemist Shiffer makes a striking debut with the magnetic All I've Been EP. Celebrated for his emotional finesse and innate ability to connect with unexplored corners, Shiffer's latest creation, including a lucious collaboration with Paul Brenning and capped off by Jonathan Kaspar's trademark rework, is a tantalizing suite designed to echo in our timeless halls.
 
The journey begins with Shiffer & Paul Brenning's opening manifesto, "All I've Been", a track that unfurls with both confidence and caution, as if self-aware from its very first beat. Mechanical whirs and fractured frames give way to low-end swells that drive forward with an unrelenting undertow. Brenning's unmistakable vocals start to break a warmer ground as they linger in the liminal space between today and tomorrow before slowly growing in gravitas. Suddenly, the piece begins to contort, drawing spellbinding figures as arresting arrangements and melodic flourishes allow for decompression. Imbued with a tantalizing breakdown that amplifies their exquisite use of negative space, "All I've Been" is a fascinating and intimate take that feels as expansive as it ever could.

ICONYC calls upon Cologne innovator Jonathan Kaspar, who delivers a singular reinterpretation of "All I've Been". Immersed in iridescent textures, Kaspar layers lush, swelling pads over pulsing low frequencies, their ebb and flow punctured by flashes of distortion that spark like electric currents.. Reflective and equally immersive, Jonathan Kaspar's take on "All I've Been" pushes the collaboration into a brash new terrain while retaining the spiritual ethos intact.
 
"Urban Legends", closes the release and takes a bolder stance. Anchored by heavy drum programming that carves its place with deliberate force, the track is haunted by ghostlike vocal fragments that lend an unsettling, cinematic edge.. Out from the left field, Shiffer deploys undulating synthetics that intertwine with consummate ease as they glide under the spotlight. An alluring act that treads unhurried and unconcerned, "Urban Legends" operates at its own pace, far from the demands of a world lost in the metropolitan hustle, allowing us to bask in a lore of things that might or might never have happened.

His second studio album, 'Trial & Error', garnered critical acclaim, leading to a groundbreaking collaboration with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, hailed as their best in the series.

Fast-forward to 2023, Amirali's avant-garde sophomore album sparked a creative renaissance. Now, he returns to the dance floor with three EPs featuring six powerful tracks, already charting and praised by industry leaders. With dance music at the forefront, he plans an extensive 2024 release schedule and a new live stage show.
