Feels Good sets off swiftly, merging prominent kick-clap combos with shimmering pulses throughout. It’s a real peak-time number, enhanced by Jem’s touching vocal offering, that showcases the stripped-back and ethereal theme of the single. Leeds born and now based in Ibiza, Audiojack have been at the forefront of electronic music for over a decade. In recent times the Gruuv-label founders have released their Isolation Tapes series to widespread industry acclaim, using music to provide a way out from the feelings of anxiety caused by lockdown and separation. UK singer-songwriter Jem Cooke is no stranger to Crosstown Rebels. First debuting on the label in 2018 alongside Made By Pete on So Long, it was later that year that Audiojack went on to remix the single. More recently, Jem collaborated with Damian on Into The Sun from his 2020 Flourish LP. A well-established member of the Crosstown Rebels family, Patrice Bäumel is one of Germany’s greatest exponents. Recent productions on Watergate Records and Systematic Recordings continue to showcase the emotive sound with which he’s become best known, whilst his performance at DGTL’s virtual festival last year marked another step in his ever- flourishing career.

Spanish production duo EKDK release their first collaborative EP alongside producer Apollo's Messengers with a record of colourful and melodic, deep, spatial-techno. Across space and time, spanning the magnitude of our vast universe and conscious understanding of time and reality, rings the true unity of music. And like the reverberations of the universe's infinite callings, the sound of honest, deep melodic and spatial techno rings through on the latest offering by Spanish producer duo EKDK and Apollo's Messengers. 2017 heralds the first time the production trinity have released a full EP together. Changes is also the production trio's first EP to be released on Alex Kaspersky and Sviatoslav Tvardovsky's Ukrainian based Dear Deer Records, a label that has givena home to the music of Thomas Gandey, Robot Needs Oil, Gabriel Moraes and more. EKDK and Apollo's Messengers first came together in 2016, on Jannowitz Records, releasing the singular and mesmerizing 'A Meeting'. This was promptly followed up with two collaborations on Apollo's Messengers debut LP Caught in a Thought released on Us and Them Records. The two well-received tracks 'DB Tales' and 'Slow Stroll',optimized their futuristic take on deep techno, highlighting their unbashed and daring approach to pacing and grooves. In 2017, theproduction triad reassembled once more on 'Observation', an ephemeral and organic, innate soliloquy released on Woods' Secret Garden compilation. Madrid based, EKDK consists of brothers Enrique and David Kado, who have been collectively carving out a niche for themselves in the underground, Spanish circuit since the turn of the century. Together, the duo released their first EP back in 2010, and have since been cultivating their unique take on vibrant, melodic deep tech-house and techno. 18 year-old Hugo Saval meanwhile hides his age through the mature, multi-layered and deeply contextualized aesthetics that have defined his productions as Apollo's Messengers. It was inevitable that the universe were to bring these refined minds together, to coalesce and merge their picturesque sonic templates and create new and futuristic sounds. "A migration from body to soul, a product of moments leading tochanges, a reset in life, and a remeeting of entities," the trio write about their new music. 'ReSet' starts off the Changes EP with aplomb. Suitable club-fodder, with heady kicks, a delicate bassline and an addictive synth melody, the track's urgency is extenuated in with its progressive and attention demanding pauses, forcing the listener closer to the dancefloor's edge. Title track 'Changes' is a heady affair that plays with noise and movement, channeling the artists' spirituality, and ritualistic charm fordarkness and the supernatural. Final track, 'ReMeeting' plays towards their producers' haunting tonality, with flickerings of mysterious melodies and enchanted, distorted synth lines.

June 2017's "Undersound", once again showcased Matan Caspi's abundant skillset on Particles. Demonstrating a mastery of his craft with the twin-track offering of sublime quality, Particles now returns to the EP with a pair of new remixes from Moldova and Hungary.

Originally from the Chisinau capital, Alex and Andrew have made quite a statement with their Lanvary production soubriquet. As the Moldovan pair continue to tear up dancefloors with their unique blend of music, the duo has benefitted from their diverse musical backgrounds, "melting various ingredients in their musical kitchen". Well over a century of production credits now sit proudly next to the Lanvary name as their work continues to find a raft of admirers and supporters. Stellar Fountain, Mistique Digital and Silk Music are just some of the heavy hitting labels to feature the 'double-headed dragon' with the December 2017, "Venus" EP for Proton Music showcasing a debut release on the flagship imprint. Regulars on Particles with a plethora of original material, the "Slingshot Ride", "Penumbra" and "Leviathan" EPs plus remixes from the likes of Fulltone, MINTZ and Matter, have kept the Lanvary name in the spotlight. Now retuning to the label for a second remix after February 2017's reworking of Kastis Torrau and Donatello, the Lanvary remix of "Undersound" takes the epic melodic foundations of the original and transforms them into a multi-faceted progressive house gem. Redolent in strong rhythm and ticking percussive cadence that bristles with emotion, the vocal so fundamental to the original plays its part in a stripped back breakdown.

Hungarian producer, Gabor Kaszas, has been a central figure in the underground progressive sound for well over a decade with his East Café production alter-ego. A strong proponent of the progressive scene, early work for Morphosis, Silk Music and Mistique Music, quickly blossomed into a distinctive and unique sound that has witnessed almost 500 production credits. Subsequent work for the likes of Clinique, Balkan Connection and Soundteller has continued to find the East Café sound a central tenet of the underground dance industry as Kaszas finds his work supported by leading figures including Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and John Digweed. The "Peaks and Lows" EP was a notable highlight for Proton Music in late 2014 with remixes of Scotty.A and Magitman also providing rich entertainment. Furthermore, a host of releases for Particles has seen East Café find favour with his "Indian Summer" and "False Visions" EP in June 2016 and 2017. Now returning to the label and reworking Matan Caspi, the East Cafe remix takes "Undersound" on a driving rhythmic journey that delights with rapid-fire hats and strong beat. The vocals from the original sit front and centre while a chorus of additional production material extends the melodic themes of Caspi's original and transforms them into a meandering freeform extravaganza that hints at Middle Eastern sounds with its choice of instrumentation and percussive texture.

Amir Farhoodi blew us away with his remix of Ben Russells 'Fatar' and Bernie Allen's 'Silver Lining' and we're now overjoyed to announce his debut artist release written especially for Lost Language.

The main riff is a plucked balaeric guitar melody (something fans of the label hold dear) and fans of Amir's production wont be disappointed, as once again the track is laced together with pure quality. Adam Fielding provides the tight production on the well crafted remix.

And then we finish things in style with a remix by our favorite Canadian producer; Dustin Nantais. With his 'Last Legs' single still buzzing the charts he delivers a euphoric deep house music influenced bomb, build around the warmest of basslines you can imagine. What a tune!
